The Control Your Own Faction RPG- Pt. 2: Rebirth, Official T
Read, add and comment on excellent written stories by fans, set within the Freelancer universe
AC I posted a couple days ago I'm taking them over for the week for my friend, he should be back on this weekend, school is getting in his way. He's homeschooled and his mom is kind of picky. They also share shipyards with the Corsairs in exchange for the bomber design, since Kyoto can't produce fighters.
Umm, if one turns and runs that doesn't mean we'll let them get away. Cap ships are slower than fighters and I want my VHF and Bombers to take pursuit and hit those things while their engines are exposed, we know shooting capships engines does more damage. He shouldn't be able to see an enemy and just turn around and run with no hits. It would be a disasterous precedent, everytime someone gets ambushed by a weaker faction they can just leave, there'd be no way for weaker sides to win wars because the enemy either committed errors or they fought smart. I mean if the Corsairs just showed up in the middle of New Berlin and said, oh gee I guess we made a mistake coming here, we'll just leave without taking anything with a huge R/S taskforce in system.
Btw Jacob, you missed my attack on the planet Kurille in Sigma 17, with 9 LF Wings, 1 Battleships, 2 Bomber Wings, 1 Heavy Wings, and 6 VHF Wings.
HAVEN'T WE ESTABLISHED YOU CAN'T GET INTO HONSHU!!!

D. I move all my forces to the Sigma 13 System. I send 15 water to the Blood Dragons (no charge.)
(posted 11/15/2004 05:43 PST)
and...
4. I move 10 LF to Hamburg and 5 LF to Bering from Hudson. Also, as war has been declared on Kusari, Rhineland plans to fight Kusari for control of the entire Honshu system. We are sending 40 LF wings, 7 HF wings, 2 VHF wings, 2 gunboats, a cruiser, and a battleship. Ships are ordered to destroy all jump gates to the other Kusari systems. gunblader, you must help me in this!

There you have it...
It IS legal after all.
I suppose I missed that original post.
Diplomatic Action: Lock all gates to and from Zoners areas.
Noone can come and go except Zoners, and if authorized by Zoner high command, you may pass.
(This is protecting te Zoner's neutrality)
"I like liberty rogues, they make a funny little popping sound when they die"
10 points to whoever guess what I messed with for that

Also, the highest any stat can be is 9. Or so I think it said in the rules.

Ship Bonuses- factions can increase one of the ratings of one of their ships. A maximum of five can be done, and 9 is the highest the rating can get.
yup.

Oh I just saw that, umm Jacob can I move the extra CA research success to FA on the LF fighter.
As for the Rheinland fleet this was posted by you yesterday, my ships were in the same system Sigma 13 , as yours and would not let you escape so easily.
"4. Move 3 gunboats, 20 LF wings, and 1 battleship to Sigma 13. Also, I unlock the jump gates in Honshu and move 20 LF, 1 gunboat, 3 HF, 1 VHF, and 1 battleship to Sigma 13."~ you yesterday

yeah, but there's really nuttin in the rules to deal with that. If you want to attack me in Honshu, too bad.
Actually, you can. But I can just call off my attack on New Tokyo, move the forces there to Honshu, and lock the gates. You'd be SO raped.
Also, apparently according to the rules I can't send reinforcements. Meaning that all forces in Honshu stayed in Honshu, and those gunboats I can only send now.

Hold on a second! check the times of those posts. I had my forces in Sigma 13 long before Wilde posted. So unless he somehow sliped past almost my entire fleet and any Corsair and Blood Dragon forces patrolling the area, there's no way he could have gone through Sigma 13 without my forces engaging him.
Hmm, good good BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
am now unlocking my gates, but it requires a tax of 40 credits for any military Taskforce arriving. So no no warrers.
I would also requst ahe addition of a rule allowing jumpole navigation.
For a fee of 1 turn extra movement time per syste passed through, one may use jump holes, as opposedtogates, whih can be locked and unlocked.
Preparing to post turn fiftee, and nother Diplomatic Action:
I Declre no firing by non-zoner ships inside Zoner controlled space.
We will bring down the hammer on those who disobey our laws of neutrality.
Also, 10 points to Arillias, or whoever guessed it.
Changing siggy tanother messed with quote from Magic.
"I like liberty rogues, they make a funny little popping sound when they die"
10 points to whoever guess what I messed with for that

I withdrawl my forces from Sigma-13 to HONSHU. KNOCK KNOCK, LET ME IN!!! WILDE. I FORGOT MY HOUSE KEY!!! . I meant to post it along with Wilde but I just got done battling a trio of viruses on my computer, so you'll forgive me if posting wasn't my first priority, but remember: NO COMPUTER= NO POSTING!!!
Most people fear the unknown.
Most people haven't met me.

To Wilde:
I just realized something else. On top of all the other reasons I have given that you couln't have gone to Honshu here is another. In the begining of the game you pummeled the living tar out of the Outcasts. This in turn would have made their allies, the Junkers, hostile to you to say the least. Since the Junkers have a base in Sigma 13, it is therefore considered a hostile system and thus, under the rules, you could not have moved your forces through Sigma 13 without first stopping to destroy the Junker base.
