Of course now that I actually decide to crush your punny fleet you would want a peace treaty. And at one time I would have considered it. But now I'd rather ingest a mine marinated in the afforementioned milk then agree to peace with you. Kusari will fight you to the last man. We will not rest until every last bit of your pathetic fleet is blown into pieces so small even the junkers wouldn' t be interested!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While Samura ships still will not be permitted into Kusari space at this time, we may consider leinience if you are willing to cut all ties with Rheinland and agree to further negotiations once the war with Rhenland ends.

DSQrn, where are you when your RPG needs you??

Post Thu Nov 18, 2004 4:58 pm

Sorry, I'm getting around to it...

Sisko, I would like to take Arizona, if you don't mind. (It is my home state, after all)
I will pay you for it, if you would like.

I think a peace would be advisable right now, this is getting a little out of hand. There is no jumpgate locking! And, now that I think of it, Wilde could not have possibly gotten into Honshu in one turn...
I don't buy that crap about cloaks or going "under" the enemy, or going through particle fields. And, since his only possible way to go into the system in one turn (you can only go through 3 systems a turn) would be through Sigma-13, I am really starting to see the problem with all of this. Furthermore, since his force was STARTING in Kepler or Bering, it would be MORE THAN 3 SYSTEMS even if he was going through Sigma-13. And, this game is considering a system a "space on a gameboard" you cannot go through an enemy-occupied one. Basically, if you have forces in a system, then an enemy going through that system has to fight your force before moving on, which further messes up the Honshu maneuver.

I would request that Rheinland move out of Honshu, and return it and New Tokyo to VD's control. Consider it as you want, but I am STRONGLY ENCOURAGING you to do it. Otherwise, Wilde, you would have to deal with me.

***heavenly music plays***

At last the light shines through. Thank you! Thank you! a thousand times thank you! Now we can finally get on with this RPG. RIGHT WILDE???

Post Thu Nov 18, 2004 5:02 pm

Whatever, VD. I, however, refuse to fight you now. This is an outrageous and unprovoked attack. All other factions have signed a peace deal. Why will you not? (actually, my fleet in matters of EVERYTHING except for Heavy Fighters and gunboats outmatches yours. plus, my capital attacks and defences outmatch yours. And do you know what my fighter size is? 560 ships! 140 wings! you *********!

However, Rhineland still does refuse to fight. (You're the japanese, you should actually be doing this). Pilots on all ships are asked to stay zen and fly evasively. (The battle actually isn't going to ensue)

To the Corsairs: I propose a non-agression pact. In battles where it shows that you and I fight on opposite sides, my ships will be ordered not to fire at Corsair or Blood Dragon ships.

Rhineland researches cruiser capital attack for 2 points, cost of 60 credits.

Yes, get on with it, before a mod finds this and locks it!

Post Thu Nov 18, 2004 5:04 pm

Wilde, your #'s were 6 and 8.
2 Failures.

Post Thu Nov 18, 2004 5:04 pm

w00t!!!!

Post Thu Nov 18, 2004 5:06 pm

acch. Whatever. My starting forces were actually allover Rhineland systems, but from there they could jump to Sigma 13, and from there to Honshu. Whatever the judge wants. here's the deal: I will pull all forces out of Honshu and Kusari pulls all forces out of Sigma 13.

I still say the move was legal. whatever.

Frankly, just stop (scuse my french) biautching. k?

Post Thu Nov 18, 2004 5:08 pm

bloody heck, life's against me today isn't it? *sigh*

Very well. All forces move out of Honshu and back to New Berlin. Just when it was getting interesting...

Not that this is the end... oh, no...

@ gunblader: We will avenge Kusari's blatent attacks. Yes, yes we will.

Also, I sent a group of fighters to look for a system. What's the number on that?

Sigma 13 is Corsair not Kusari Space. If you wish it to be a neutral zone, I''ll end my alliance with Kusari, whichever side moves through it on either side, I join against.

Peace accepted.

JACOB I AM FALLING ON MY KNEES, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, I BEG YOU, JUDGE MY ATTACK ON KURILLE YESTERDAY. PLEASE!!! I''VE ASKED AND I''VE ASKED!!!

Post Thu Nov 18, 2004 5:11 pm

In that case ignore my earlier movement thread (I don't think I could have done that outside my turn anyway) I'll keep my forces right were my turn said they are.

Am I to late to join in? This looks cool, so i'd like to try it. If I can join, could I be the Gaians?

Post Thu Nov 18, 2004 5:15 pm

Yes, but only if you ally with Bretonia!
Welcome, read the rules, and post a turn!
Triyun- your results will be up shortly.

Post Thu Nov 18, 2004 5:19 pm

@ Triyun: I simply want peace between the Corsairs and Rhineland. Our struggles do not involve you, so we should not have to fight you should it come to it. Even if we would ever choose to move through Sigma 13 space, rest assured it would not be to attack the Corsairs.

Basically what I want is a continuing peace, only affected by one faction moving forces directly against another faction or ally. Therefore, if I happen to move across Sigma 13, I would like assurance that you will not attack me or join an alliance with an enemy. I'm sure VD would like the same assurance.
