I have been away for quite a while, due to an intense upgrade to my PC. I see that the Lite Version has been released. I wonder if there will be a newer version than 2.01?

So many cool looking ships has been uploaded onto the Lancer Reactor site. I was wondering, I tried TNG mod. And the New Worlds WITH TRADE LANES are cool. I wonder if you could add Trade Lanes?

Tried the open SP in the in the lite version. Found I was ask to participate im Mission 3. I thought in open SP mode there were no missions after mission 1 or 2 and yes i ran the bat file before starting the game. Need help

billm01: it's possible that u have some read-only files in Fl\missions directory, so deactivate the Lite mod, select fl dir, and on properties dialog deactivate the readonly checkbutton. then reactivate the mod.

I got an idea for a couple ships I'd like to see, both "heavy fighter" or "Very heavy fighter" class. I'm stuck with a Y-wing cause I can't find a better fit...

I'd like too see a dual engine class 10 capable fighter, with say 100 cargo, 2 turrets, a smaller FF weapon loadout, like 4 to 6 and better manuverability.

I'd also like something more like the WC broadsword, 3-4 turrets, about 4 FF cannon, heavy armour, twin torps... You know, a nice capitol ship killer with backup defense turrets.

One other idea was to tie manuverability in to the size thruster you have and get a degredation of manuverability with increased armour upgrades. That way a VHF with heavy thrusters would handle reasonably well, but a light fighter with stock thrusters and class4 armour would handle like a brick.

I have run into a couple of ship problems.
1. Jedi fighter info card displays it as having lvl 10 guns and shield capacity, also 275 in cargo capacity. When you buy it you only have lvl 9 guns and shields and like 125 in cargo.
2. There is a buyable ship on Battleship Myoko that is labeled IDS with nothing on the info card at all.

I've found that it's best to ignore the info cards for the most part. Some are correct, some aren't. What I typically do is select the ship for purchase and hit the "buy" button. The game then takes you to a panel where you can trade ship components. That is where I learn about the ship. I can see how much cargo it actually holds, what weapons it can carry, and a few things that the info-card wouldn't tell me, like: the number of afterburners it can carry, or if it has a hyperdrive (two engines listed.)

Once you've finished looking at the information, just back out of the purchase.

MD seems to be holidaying, because I guess he is However, just like to make a statement here that there have ben some pretty cool ships lately on Lancers Reactor recently. Like the Paladin ship thingie!

Will there be a new version than 2.01 soon?

Hello everyone, i'm back and in black! The sun made me that way...
Almost got lost onto the tradelanes to the sea, very busy and with a lot of disruptions...(loved that btw), thx for the warning Gameshark...
I saw the numerous ships on the front page, some of them were added from the lite version(like the Sabre XR and X-fighter).
The next version will probably include the Border worlds ship pack, the XYZ light fighters pack, the Thunderbird & Raven(all from Paul, hopefully i'll get a permision too..., the Dark Fighter and the Slipstream XJ-376, but with 8/2 guns/turrets.
Also I'm planning to enhance other pirate factions weaponry, maybe add a favorite missile/mine combo for each of them, and at least one higher level gun(like lvl 8 lasers for the Liberty Rogues).
Unfotunately the ships from the New Worlds Mod from Frost-Works cannot be added......so no Templars, Paladins, Ameises, Kusari Jar-Jar VHF or Rheinland VHF's for us...
I know Ripperman quite well and gonna help him with their mod, but I think he wants these models to be a unique feature of their mod and i respect that...
Probably gonna get involved in that Coalition Strikes back project, so u see there'll be a lot on my hands the next days...

So ummm .. Rebalance no more?? T_T But Rebalance is integrated into that other mod you were mentioning about, I would be interested. Just as long as the Star Wars ships don't end up slugging like in TNG. The TIE Fighters were the LAST thing I would fly in the TNG mod.

No, u missunderstood G-shark, Rebalance still lives and will have further versions and enhancements. My implications with those projects does not mean i give up my own mod. It'll be updated slower than before but it'll stil be updated. A version 2.11 it's on the way and it will have what i said above. maybe more...

Do you think it was possible to tune down the battles of battleships in the EAF? The battles are cool on Single Player, but it can be deadly when it comes to multiplayer. You have heard from me before that a certain battleship causes the game to crash when you exit a planet. But maybe you reduce the chances of crashing, maybe reduce the chances of battleships appearing?

I mean like, VHFs and all that, just tune down on the Motherships and all that. You know, like one BS and VHF as support and all that.

Possible to add Trade Lanes in the New Systems? Just like the Systems in TNG. I know Campbridge has the longest freaking tradelane in FL, but maybe you can break that record? ^_^

MD, are you looking at the fixing the flight controls for the battleships in your next update? I took a couple of them for a spin, and they spun me instead. Also, maybe you've already answered this, why are you adding new battleships but not the existing Freelancer ones?
