Mjr.Hurtz ,
Indeed i also forgot the possibility to add damages to the zone , missing also interference and the type of particles.
I am adding this now.
it's also possible to add fog but i'll looking into it tomorrow.
i'll probably do a release tonigh with some fixes.

The Missing names problem is quite strange.If you have a mod, can you send it to me , so i can check what has been generated.

My oppinion is, and it is just my oppinion, after having build MANY MANY systems by hand I will not use your tool until I can edit the objects. I would personally rather have fewer possibilities and be able to edit them all. The tool is pretty close to useless to me if i can't change what I add, because then I have to edit the code by hand anyway so why bother in the first place?

Once again GREAT tool keep up the good work! I look forward to being able to actually use this tool sometime in the near future!! Thanks again for such great work!!!!

Mjr.Hurtz, i meant sending by email don't bother posting files into the forum.
Just zip the system and put it in the email , it's far more convenient.

MSensei, i understand your point of view. And i am trying hard to have this almost complete before i go in holidays in two weeks time.
But i still think that even if you need to do 5% of edition by hand it's still better than 100%
And for beginners, using the tool can be a good start even if it's not complete.
But don't worry my goal is to have everything editable and deletable (if that's a word .
There is not a lot missing and most of it should be simple. So from now on, most of the time will be spent in fixing the edition of object/zone.

If you find something that is missing (for example , i have just added the radioactive dust in my version) don't hesitate to point it out.
Sometimes it will take less than a day to add, sometimes longer. But the principal is that i keep a list of stuff to add. So the more you ask, the more is being done.

I am doing the soft for you guys , Cos i will not mod anything.

Any new systems I make always have the same problem, the bases, planets and the system name is blank. The only thing which does have a name is the star. Also when I put a base in New York that had a name. I hope you can work out the problem!

Hello everyone.
I found a bug : nothing show exept the name when i zoom in and every thing show in the middle of the map : sun, planet, etc.
I think you should inverse the zoom sense : zoom in, roll up ; zoom out, roll down.
Maybe a more precise choice for the place of the system in the universe map will increase your tool's power.
One last thing : can't you add description editor to your tool as for the name ?

Mjr.Hurtz, i think i have found the problem with the names not appearing.
In fact, the dll could have been loaded twice when it was also present in the freelancer.ini.
I have fixed that. There is no guarantee that it was the cause of your trouble but that's the only problem i could find.

Archangel, very strange indeed. I think there is something not initialized properly sometimes but i havent been able to find it yet. I have had a blank screen or some weird case where i put a jump hole and it's way outside the map.
I'll try to find it tomorrow.
Do you mean an infocards editor ? That's planned but it will take a while too. I am not even sure that the code that i use to read the infocards at the moment is working properly (in fact, i am sure of the opposite ).

Shsan that didn't fix it, but I have found out why it wasn't working. Before I was saving it directly into freelancer, but when I save it as a mod it works. (Very Strange to me) Perhaps you can find a fix

And Just a small idea, when you choose if you want to load a mod it could do with going to the last directory.

Thallelus Darkshine, with the latest version you don't need DevStudio at all. So don't worry about it.
But if you want it, it's a microsoft product.

Mjr.Hurtz, it's strange the only thing i can see it that previously the dll was not added to the freelancer.ini. Older version of my program had this trouble before.

I'll see what i can do about the last directory

Do you have a logo button? I would like to link to you. I topped 1.2million hits in the last 3 weeks... maybe drive u a little traffic?

How's that editing going?

A couple of thoughts.
I use a custom .dll obviously but I keep this .dll in the folder of freelancer mod manager/mods/msensei/ because that's where it automatically adds the file to the exe folder and adds it's name to freelancer.ini. It would be way cooler if i could run your outstanding software from the same folder as freelancer mod manager, that way for me to update my mod every 6 to 8 hours it makes it easier to zip and send with a couple of clicks.... am I making any sence at all?

I am really trying to be helpful by asking this, are you going to run open source or are you intending to keep your work secure? All of my mods are open source because i'm trying very hard to help people learn how to mod more easilly therefore I was wondering if I could see your source because I am interested in the parsing routines and object structures to help teach my game design classes.

Finally was wondering if I could get a "compress on save" checkbox so I can turn OFF recompression as I am trying to edit it would be nice to be able to continue to look at my folders and see my files uncompressed but when I go to send the final product I would of cource recompress, thanks I'll shutup now

When I add a weapons platform and enter 0 (a value that is unacceptable) it errors 3 times and then allows me to correct my error.

I suggest a default value of 1
Is this good feedback?
