Ok guys.
There is a new version posted on my website.
We have gone through the tool this afternoon with StarGod and found several severe bugs. The one making the game crash has been fixed too.
The problem with the custom system should be fixed too.
One thing that you could do if you want to report bugs is to post in the forum on my web page.
You could also add any suggestion.

I'll go through your recent reports to see if everything is fixed.
I'll probably had something to configure the rotation of the jumphole/gate too.
At the moment, it's always pointing in the same direction.

Sorry again for these recent release crashing more than i would have like..

When I edit a dock port so I can add equipment and change ships for sale, I can. But When I play the game and go into the ship shop or the equipment room...........There is no inventory. Nothing. Nada. Gone. Not even any of the old original. HELP!!!!

I had the same prob that I couldn't buy anything, but I didn't know why and how it happened, but I guess it was the program yes.

Anyway I think you're doing a great job, bugs are fixied within a day and that's realy great. If it continues to grow this fast the prog will be ready in a week or so I guess...

Btw, u should make options to make a new universe, or delete an existing system.

New version with more bug fixed.
Problem with the equipment not being added.
New Equipment dialog (more user friendly)
Bug fixed also in the Ship Edition Dialog.
plus other minor bugs and memory leaks.

Next i'll add the Patrols.

Deleting a system is a big task. I'll keep it for later.

its been a whille since i posted but this is the small version untille now
i had a wel region of 9 systems connected & all whent i got in an endless jumphole and i had to start over

now im going to test the new version

dude, this rox, i never thought it would be so easy. im not getting the crash-on-startup problem anymore. The only problem i had was i placed a nomad jumpgate from my system to nw york, it worked fine, but next time i play ed it wasnt tehre, it s possible this was a problem with saving the files or sumthing, or loading.

o,a nd 1 suggestion, make it so the zoom function zooms on the mouses location instead of the center of the map, this is kinda annoying.

EDIT: another suggestion, make the trade lanes more visible

i might have identified the endless jump hole bug not sure do
its when you try to add a system with a custom name

i'll explain further in detail
i got a system NE01 with an endless jump hole to a system called NE02
now yesterday i had the problems with oter custom made prefixes but i haven't tested that yet

it wasn't it i dont get it
tommorow i'm going to do a remake of 2 systems and then wait a few days untill others might solve this problem

has anyone encountered this problem and how did you solve it

allow the removal of the selling commudities
i deleted a station and i wanted to place a new one but i still have the same selling/buying screens

Been spending the last week-end trying to have the patrols working.
And no, it still crashing the game most of the time.
The file generated seems reasonable but i can't figure out what i am doing wrong.
I have been able to create working patrols but i don't know why it was ok, and the others wrong....
So i'll leave it for now. I'll try to do the debris fields next (might be easier).

And btw, there is a manual in preparation (Thx to StarGod for taking the task).
If you have been able to create manually some debris fields or patrols , can you plz send me the information about it.

New version available and for the first time, you can put some animation in the news systems.
First the debris fields are working.
Second, the population zones are also working.
Some other bugs have also been fixed (cursor problems).

The patrols are still not working, if someone has any idea ,plz send me an email with some details.
I am planning to try again to fix it soon.
oops just seen that i forgot to implement the box shape for the zone.
next release then. I'll add the small stuff missing and go through the list of bug report (zoom etc..)
and after that we'll see about generating random missions.

Great util!! Its a shame that the patrols dont work . Still great program. Need random missions would be great along with some other things

Oh and an other thing. Would it be possible to make it so you could change a systems nebulae? (I keep getting the wrong nebulae in systems :-( )
