Ok, I tried making a new system.
Problems encountered:
New Planet did not appear (although docking gates did)
That was the only problem, that and the fact nothing new had a name. Which was a pity, as I named it all after the area I live in. (System Cumbria, Planet Carlisle)

By the way, I was using 1.6.*.*. Is there a new version now?

The page isn't working.
Today and yesterday...

But maybe it'll work but I feel that I must have that utility.

Btw. I've got a question. Is it possible to make 'patrols' in this utility?

u prolly had the old version with dll bug AgentProp, which is fixed now and all names show up right

AgentProp, i have fixed a bug in the face/body settings so it's perhaps ok now.
Yes you can load a mod, just answer yes at the second question (asking if you want to load a mod

Mjr.Hurtz, clouds... It's quite complicated.
First you click where the center should be (left click)
Then you choose the shape (right click to change and left click to validate)
then you choose the orientation (move and left click to validate)
then you choose the size (move and left click to validate)
and finally a dialog arrives and you can fill the fields

I'll see what i can do to show the rotation.
And moving objects will come a little bit later (but that's not too difficult so i might do it when i can )

The patrols should be working but i am far from confident that all combinations are ok

If you check on the page and see an update in the sutff done, then a new version is available. The zip is always containing the latest version.

Ok, My problems....
1. I make a new system, then I try to make a jumpgate to it....I play the game, no jumpgate where I asked for one. I open up the explorer again. Jumpgates are gone until I move the map around, then the screen goes black and the jumpgates I put in appears.

1a. Even when this doesn't happen before the latest version, I could place a jumpgate somewhere and it still won't appear in game, but the new system I make is there.

2. When I reboot and reload the mod I make with your program, It loads the map right, I edit it, then I try to play it. But none of the new changes appears in the game. It does in the program, but not in the game.

3. I try to make a new base in the New York System and when I load the game, I click on the new base named......"Barksdale", The rectangle targeted thing that pops up when you select the base appears over Buffalo Base, but the name is still "Barksdale" in the cockpit. And when you select goto after clicking on the NEW BASE, it takes you to buffalo base instead and tells you your going to the NEW BASE.

MLEdele, all the problems you describe seems to have been fixed in a recent version, can you check that you have the latest version (1.7.5.1)

yesterday I had to change my firewall/proxy and it seems that since there is some issues to get to the page. I hope to fix that later today.
Meanwhile if you need the freelancer explorer, drop me an email and i'll send it.

In the near future, the integration of flmm will be much tighter. I'll see with IGx89 what exactly we will do but it should remove some basic problems like editing a mod while flmm is running (bad).
I am still searching one big bug but i can't find it... so the updates will probably be a little bit slower than before.

Well it's not the end of the problems... Because I have one.

Everything seems to work fine.

But then...

An error. It says: "Cannot create path = C:\\Blah for filename C:\Blah\mods\Data\Universe...blah blah".
And yes. It is C:\\ there.

Why? Did I do something wrong?

No... You don't understand. EVERY change, patrols, jump holes, bases, sun, planets, etc. makes the same problem.

That's the bug i have been tracking for the past two or three days.
I can't reproduced it.
I might have to ask one of you to spend an afternoon during this week-end if possible to do some remote debugging cause, i can't reproduce it.

I'll check the C:\\ problem because that's strange. It might be the cause of all the problems.

I'll check this evening (and week-end) if i can't find it.
If in the mean time, you have a mod, which is fine and know how to break the app after loading it. Please send me the instruction to follow so i can reproduce it.
More debugging in perspective then

Do I have a mod? Well I don't know. My Freelancer is pretty messed up. I mean:
- When I used FL Mod Manager it deleted my freelancer.ini file. I have replaced it from rebalance mod.
- I have replaced few ini files from rebalance mod [encounters and/or systems only
- changed Chugoku myself [added sun, removed asteroid field and nebula
- tried to unlock some gates but failure is my second name
- who knows what else

So my FL is pretty messed up. I must reinstall it or I'll destroy it completly.

and what did my "mod" brake?

IIRC there is a "original ini files" download available here to fix that.
