That it has been waaay overblown by the media. I know lots of arab-americans personally, a few of whom are Muslim...it's never even come up. There are no witch-hunts. It's a fabrication of the media.
just a thought on Sadistic's theory of being a diverse tolerant culture.. what are your thoughts on the recent persecution of american citizens of arab descent.
Irrelevent unless they are American citizens..the rest of the world does not have a "right" to enter our nation.
legitimate american passports holders are being accused or forgery and denied even a phone call to sort this out.
I dont doubt it...your media is even more liberal than ours is. Incidence of prejudice against Americans of arab decent are isolated at best...much the media is simply trying to play them up as much as possible.
i'm not sure if this is reported in american media, but us canucks hear about it frequently.
