Welcome, to Fantasy Island!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I cant belive youve missed these...

G. I. Joe (The real American Hero)

Kolchak: The Night Stalker (The new one STUNK)

And of course, Wild Wild West

and thanks to those clever people at Tawakalnistan State Broadcasting Company (closely associated with Emu's Broadcasting Company and Rutland Weekend Television) you too can enjoy the silky crooning of Tony Christie singing the excellent theme tune from The Protectors, and Jack Jones smotthly performing The Love Boat rather better than the Dog's dreadful rendition.... turn your speakers UP!

The Protectors absolutely brillaint, one of the best theme tunes ever <sigh> they don't write 'em like that anymore.... also rumoured to have been performed by your Mullah at various work Christmas parties.
The Love Boat akshuly it's rather good isn't it!

and just for FD...
Phantashy Island including *de pleeeehn, de pleeeehn!*

and finally... it's moider!
Hart to hart

Dog - *On Safari* - sheesh..... and it had Kaffy from Eastenders innit...

What about He-Man and Thundercats?

Grom - You being only a couple yearrs older than me, I recognise most all those shows, that is if they were shown in the US.

What about KnightRider? or Rip Tide? or Remmington Steele? Great shows for the 8-12 year old!!!

You know, I own both the G.I.Joe and Transformers movies!!!

@Grom: Same thing happened me at 30. I think it is because you have been out of the education system long enough to know that whatever path you are now on is most likely the one you will stay on. The promise of youth and the potential future seem less and perhaps you feel, "well if I ain't made by now...?" In many cases by 30 you are mortgaged, married, perhaps with pups, you no longer have the choice to just quit the job and feck off to Oz on a beer binge or to suddenly take up busking full time. Personally I want to be a truck driver when I grow up.

May be way off the mark but that is as usual only Id's 2 cents.

BTW: 31 and 32 don't matter a sod and even if you aint broken any world records, life can still be great.

@ id
Hoo-Hah, do you have hair probs!( or should that be 'hare'?)

and after 40, a morbid curiosity about how it finishes sets in.....

Grom, my parents went sparingly on letting us watch TV. 6 years old was the earliest I can remember. Other ones were Marine boy, Speed racer, Felix the Cat, Popeye, Pink Panther, Atom Ant, Rocky and Bullwinckle, Spiderman, Tom and Jerry, and Yogi Bear.

did you use to pretend that Bazzokas were Oxygum? that your bath soap was the submarine? and i just whistled the theme tune! how sad is that? it must be.. erm... <counts> 35 years since I saw that show...

and here it is! with sound effects too, I'm sure I can hear Spasher, Neptina, and the P1 firing torpedoes.

incredibly that soap also doubled as the Seaview from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea

takes you right back doesn't, FD? happier times...

@Freud: Fortunately I have a healty coiffeur which is kept in the age old fashion of my trade, greased back with a heafty dollop of Brylcream.

My boyish good looks and innocent charm have protected me from the outward ravages of age.

@id - ok, ok, enough with the scary stuff, just name the pub When I was 29 I discovered the age-old cure to baldness...I shaved my head in a "HA! Take That Bald Spot!" moment...an action that was closely followed by a smack to the forehead in a "DOH!" like fashion and the dawning realisation that my entire head is now hairless. Age doesn't necessarily make you wiser

@Grom: Pubs? Too many to name, you just get your paws paddlin' 'cross that Oirish Sea and I'll have a pint ready when you arrive.

I am convinced that we all get a lifetime supply of hair and that the lads you thought were real macho in school 'cause they had hairy backs and shaved their knuckles are usually bald when you see 'em at the 10 year reunion 'cause they are running low on supplies. I still don't have to shave every day and so I reckon that I am not using up my life time ration so quickly that I'll ever go bald.

BTW: I do know that there is a scientificly biologichuckle reason for baldness that has summat to do with male testosthisthattheotherone but the above was not a prompt for any clever clogs to give me a lesson, I will gladly live in my id and cling onto my delusional little state of affairs as it is much warmer in here. Ta!

yes well that's enough of your follically-challenged lives. let's get back to trash tv. Does anyone (apart from me) remember The Aeronauts? aka Les Chevaliers du Ciel, it was that Phrentsch thing about 2 pilots, one good, one not so good, who'd fly around in their Dassault Super Mysteres (not Mirages) busting up smuggling gangs and pirates and crashing in the desert every other week *ah zut alors Jean-Paul je thinks je est going au pancake*

I reckon they bust up half the French airforce to rescue some kid's dog.
