Hmm ..
I would run one off my machine here, but i have a 5GB international traffic cap
a month...

why dont we just set up a fortunecity web account(s) and share the password between the team?

they have ftp, just a little fussy about file size and types...
no bigger than 5MB for a single file and dont like .PDF or .dll so just zip everything and its ok
each account has 25MB of storage...

I played privateer back in the day. I absolutly loved that game, in fact, it's in my top three list of my favorite game. I'd love to help you guys out with this project. I don't know too much about this kind of stuff, but someone said they were doing a visual system editor. So if that all works out I guess I could help model the systems.

Well, what I have to do now is to learn how to split models, so that every part has unique material. If you have sub/multi materials you should know that each sub mat. correspond to a face id, the first sub mat. has id 1, the second has id 2, etc. If you do not do that all mapping coordinates disappear

Update: ok, research complete. Now I can convert models with more than one texture

Well, Stryfe you can add me to that list up there i think . It took me a while but I finally got those privateer tunes up for you guys. I hope the server will sustain the load its pretty weak. Anyways:

I've sent my 3ds Orion model to Bob McDob. Would love to be able to fly that thing in Freelancer

Excellent work guys, things are bumping along nicely, and i feel very lazy right at this moment, as i have done no work on the systems at all for a couple of days

Update: Bob, you should have models now... as I already told you... I have to rework several hardpoints on Crossbow and Hornet.
