Corsairs would request joint ownership of the system from Bretonia and a broader alliance pledging defense against all aggressors going both ways (excluding a decleration of war for the current conflict with Rheinland and Samura as long as they stay out of Corsair space) for Omega 5, also we'd request future rights to engage the Red Hessian forces in system if we so choose. (They also have a base there.)

Btw, could you respond to the blood dragon research some time Jacob, I don't like to be pushy but its been like 4 days and several posts of hence from you, with multiple reminders by honic and I.

Post Tue Nov 16, 2004 2:57 pm

Triyun, I think that would work.
I'm not at home, but when I get there, I will give you your results for the techs.

Post Tue Nov 16, 2004 3:04 pm

{EDIT}@ Jacob: Affirmative I withdrawl forces attacking Pitsburg and have changed my turn post to reflect this. Also you agreed to my trade request. Which one I'm asking for two things. I'm looking to purchase two Trains or H-Fuel and Oxygen for credits{/EDIt}

@ Jacob: Agreed, Cortez is yours and I will claim Magellan as a Liberty System. The Zoners still have their rights to the station there and will not be hampered by Liberty.

@ Triyun: Agreed to Non-agression pact and recognize your right to selected systems you have chosen.

@ Wilde: I turn down the offer of Alliance and trieaties concered. I will not move into Bering nor Hudson at this point. I due further add that Liberty would be open for trade should you desire.

To ww2jacob:

I have a proposal to help this RPG (or the next one if I don't finish in time) run more smoothly and make the judge's job a little easier. I will post in the OOC thread to avoid clutter. Please check it out if you get a chance sometime.

@ vorticaldwarf: You cannot place troops in Honshu, nor can you move troops there. I control it and all its stations, plus I have locked down the jump gates. I cannot move out and you cannot move in.

@ Sisko: well, at least a peace treaty. If it will mean an alliance, we will indeed give you control of Hudson.

@ whoever said I couldn't move forces into Honshu: I can't move through it. I can move into it, however, which is what I did.

turn to follow later in teh evening...in the meantime, I move 3 gunboats and 1 battleship to Sigma 13.

Post Tue Nov 16, 2004 4:17 pm

Wilde, I checked, and unless you want to attack VD's forces in one of those systems that you CAN move into, then you can't take Honshu.

And Rich, we accept your offer to join Bretonia.
Welcome to the Liberty/Bretonia Alliance.

To Wilde: The only system of mine you could legally attack this last turn was Shikoku. If you want to change that to be the target of your attack then we can just assume that all references to Honshu by and active combatants in this turn actually refer to Shikoku.

Please let me know so that ww2jacob can finally judge these battles.

Post Tue Nov 16, 2004 5:54 pm

Actually, I can attack Honshu. I move forces to Weimar (Frankfurt) or New Berlin, from there to Sigma 13, and then to Honshu. Unless I'm much mistaken, I can move into Honshu but not through it if Kusari owns it. http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/flsystems/map.asp Will someone please check this out? I really do know what I'm attacking.

Frankly, now that I own Honshu, I can take the rest of the Kusari systems. However, I want to win them with a fight involved.

Hey, jacob--you have accepted two alliances already. Samura and Rhineland are offering you another. What about it?

Rhineland turn 13:
1. Place the three gunboats in New Berlin

2. I buy 3 cruisers.

3. I offer an alliance to Bretonia and Liberty, the terms being we will hand over control of Hudson to Liberty and Bering to Bretonia. If you do not agree with these terms, then please let us simply sign a non-agression pact. @ Triyun: Frankly, the alliance of one house to another benefits both.

4. Move 3 gunboats, 20 LF wings, and 1 battleship to Sigma 13. Also, I unlock the jump gates in Honshu and move 20 LF, 1 gunboat, 3 HF, 1 VHF, and 1 battleship to Sigma 13.

5. I collect 250 credits, plus 1605=1855
commodities left: 146 M, 68 H-F, 50 O, 183 F, 108 W

That turn there was a corsair fleet impeding progress in Sigma 13 into honshu. Also he turned down Samura's alliance. It'd be fool hardy to all pile on the bad wagon of one single alliance that would build rheinlands power.

He already went to Sigma-13, so I will resolve that one.

Triyun-
5xCA Bmbr- 4,7,2,4,6=3 Success, 2 Failure
3xFA LF- 10,3,3=2 Success, 1 Failure
2xExplore- 3,8=1 Success (Check rules to see what you get), 1 Failure

Sisko3-
4xExplore-1,5,6,3= 2 Success (1 Planet with another terraformable, and check rules on the other), 2 Failure (2 LF Wings)
CA LF- 10=Failure
FA FL-4=Success

Tell me if I missed any explore/techs!

Post Tue Nov 16, 2004 6:05 pm

@ Wilde- You cannot, because there is a giant battle raging in Sigma-13. You can't pass through a system where there is a battle going. Wait for the result; if you win, then you can continue on into Kusari.
Sorry, but I don't want to get involved in this war right now. Declined. (Respectfully, as always)
@ Triyun- I believe that your fleet is in Sigma-17, and that you have 10 LF in Sigma-13. Correct me if I'm wrong.

yeah I meant to say kusari I was just about to edit. This turn they entered into Sigma 13 however to engage the Rheinland/ Samura taskforce in battle there with Kusari.

Blood Dragons new system named The Pass of the Dragon links Chugoku with Omicron Gamma through debris fields which impede the movement of capital ships without an extra turn of navigation.

Basically the Blood Dragons needed a way to quickly reach the corsairs that can also allow for rapid response to either front. I'd have blocked it off completely but the corsairs may buy Kusari capital ships later down the road that'd it'd be best to pass through. Since the corsairs contracted to build VHF for the blood dragons.

Also I assume the bombers already attacking Rheinland and Samura in Sigma 13 have the updated 10 CA attack power because honic researched before they were deployed.
