i just rang up the gamesmen, they don't have it yet. looks like gamesmarket are the frists ones to have it. Now on the EB front i posted this before, EB will not sell any copys of software/games to any customers even on pre-order until all thier outlets have been stocked up from the point of release, I got my copy of UT 2 days before the realese date from the back of the EB store cause they couldn't put it up on display until the head office gives the go ahead. i ended up getting the docket for it 2 days later lol. Name of the manager and shop information will be withheld due to the fact i don't want to get my friend fired.

I'd really like to know the point of that policy, it takes minium 3 days to stock all thier outlets by which time most other stores have it available. Still I'm not really fussed, I'm intensely busy right up to the weekend so it's better for me not to have it just yet.

rofl mustang, there is alot of things that EB do, noone living on earth will understand. I remember reading there sales opening and closeing that got spotlighted by pennyarcade. here are the links

Thinking into the future a little (hopefully the very near future

)...

what are the odds of there being some Aussie servers up and running...

I mean it's possible that those of us on cable/ADSL (maybe even 56k'ers who knows) will be able to play on US/European based servers without much hassle but still it'd be great to play with a bunch of Aussies too

i'll be happy to host one for at lest the frist month and see what the data amounts transfer is like, if it goings over 10gb a month i'll be forced to shutdown, thats my adsl dl/ul each month before i start paying per mb for data

Also gotta be careful, some ISP's don't like it if you run a server from the connection.

Well, I just went down to the EB store. I was told it would definitely be available tomorrow (Wed 12th) - but only if I pre order. So I put down my $10 deposit and will hopefully have it tomorrow.

Hey, I'm even more lucky this way.... It's my wedding anniversary today, so having a new toy to play with probably wouldn't have been the best idea anyway :-)

Ahh well, lets hope EB come through with the goods tomorrow.

Just checked my Order status at Gamesmarket and its down as Shipped as Of March 11th, so thurs, ill have my game. So good news all round, looks like everyone in Aus will be able to get it by the end of the week, at the latest

Hey Dwyer, when I rang EB today thats the line they pulled on me too, "If you come down to the store and put down a deposit you will get it as son as it comes into the store" more like make me shell out some money, then have to wait till they stock it, which could be days after other shops.

Damn EB, they really do suck A$$

I just had a weird thought, probably totally incorrect, but could the release date of Marth the 11th be the American March the 11th? Because that would mean it comes out on Wednesday...
