I own a computer store in Sydney and I can confirm Microsoft disties have started distributing stock. Should be in stores that receive deliveries next-day on the 11th on cue

Hmmm, it's not showing up as 'shipped' yet in my order status at GamesMarket. But it has been removed from the preorder section! Can't be long now.

Plus the day or two it takes Express Post to get to WA

I checked at my local EB and Harvey Norman in Ballarat, Victoria, at about midday. Nothing to report as yet. I remember waiting like this for the release of NeverWinter Nights. I played that title for about a week, and never picked it up again. I hope Freelancer holds my interest a bit longer!

I rang EB at EastGardens about 1 hr ago, they said they hadn't recieved any word from their head office yet so who knows??????????

I thought Express Post took two days to WA? Either way, I'd never shop at Gamesmarket.com.au again. Rude people, they are. It's quicker to walk down to the shops, at any rate! And with EB's return policy, it's simple to return a crap game if need be. If not for that wonderful policy (which is to be changed soon, I hear) I'd still have Red Faction...for $89.95..yuck.

I just called EB in the Brisbane Myer Centre. They are still waiting for the head office to call them back but said they would not be receiving it today. Damn.

I gave Harvey Norman a call (in the Mall) and all the guy could tell me was it should be in before the end of the month. Ugh. But that was based on the fact they ordered 24 copies on the 28th of Feb. So I guess he was a bit of a moron.

Anyway, hope some of you managed to grab a copy today. It'll be another day for me.

My experience with gamesmarket has been great so far, plus freelancers in stock today which hopefully means ill be getting freelancer in two days. love that express post, although wouldnt mind it being a little express'ier
