Is the mod meant to be this easy? When i first tried the mod, I flew over to see the 'black hole thingy' floating in space (nexus) and before long realized my trade routes had went from 5-8 systems to 1-2 systems in length. Then i found the space station in the nexus and realized that some of the new best runs were from NY to Nexus and back. After checking the various NY bases out, I realized that I could upgrade my freighter when needed, ALSO right in the heart of NY. Within about 2 hours of starting the mod as a total noob, I had about 10 million cash. Another hour and I had 20 million.
Balancing this of course was the extremely high cost of weaponry. Unfortunately this means that you can sell weapons captured on a mission for such a high price the need to do a mission is completely invalidated. But still, missions paled in comparison to the 1 or 2 mil netting, 1 system distance, trading runs that were throwing out cash like a beer-goggled millionaire in a lap-dance parlor.
Don't get me wrong, I like the mod very much. I am just wondering if the intention is to eventually balance the economy. I realise this is still a formative ongoing project.
