Blackhole0: Of course ill give credit where credit is due. And btw, your program should load the bases that are in "missions/mBases.ini" and there are 196 or so. (guess ur working on system base files.. well i could do the mbases.ini but its gonna take a couple of days, lots of info in there.. so let me know whats going on) and also, check ur emails

SFTX: thx for those bugs, im doing my best to fix em all.

Things coming up in 0.3 :

- Planets/Stars Generator (including zones)
- Ellipsoid zones
- System nebula properties
- Space costume heads list
- 3 object size values
- Zoom (navmap scale 0.1 to 3.0)
- Moving around the system
- Tooltip Text added for objects/lights/zones
- zone fog color
- zone property flags helper
- object colors
- object/light/zone coordinates on the screen
- object behavior/reputation
- Adding Systems (to universe.ini)
- Adding Bases (to universe.ini)

I found another bug:

If you save your System and if the .ini file is readonly ... the new .ini file wont be saved.

Test this:
Load the Li02 system into the FLSE.
Don't change anything and save it.
Then start FL and fly to the Tahoe cloud in the Li02 system ...
... if you are in the cloud, you will see that the fog color is not white.

Another thing which I would appreciate is that the FLSE supports Xp-Style.

And I have a question:
How long do you program VB6?

I program for one year and I would not be able to program such a great tool.

Its normal you cant overwrite read-only files.. just make them archives instead
im guessing ur trying to save over original FL files, I dont recommend that )

Ill check what the problem is with the fog color and fix it.

And i've been doing VB for quite a while
(started with VB4 so u can imagine, im not young anymore )

Also what do you mean by XP-Style ??

I know ... but there is no error message that the new file will not be saved.
The best thing you could do is to save a file even it is readonly.

By Xp-Style I mean that your program supports buttons with the new Windows Xp-Style.
Here is an example image.

And I found another bug:
If you change the planets to this names...
planet_ice_blue_2000
planet_ice_blue_2500
planet_ice_purple_1500
planet_ice_purple_200
... FLSE wont change the size on the screen.

At the rate im going, 0.3 should be available friday or saturday.

Also please add a "Save" entry into the file menu.
With this entry the program overwrites the loaded System.

Good luck.

put the system INI (and its bases and rooms) in its own folder (named the system's name) along with the bases and rooms (in their respective folders) in the SYSTEM folder. all done. just make sure you've got an entry for the system in the UNIVERSE.INI file.

Psy is almost ready to release 0.3, and i'm nearing an ALPHA for my base editing program. Updates are coming!

EDIT: ahhhhh.... My and Psy got in a "disagreement" over who was working hard, so needless to say, i not exactly sure if theres going to be a base editor with 3.0

Whoops......
