**Tutorial** - Realistic Battleship settings
Here you find the different tutorials on editing and MODing Freelancer
Which one are you using? Liberty dreadnought or Osiris battleship. Liberty dreadnoughts cannot dock with anything since they are so big. The only way to solve this is to go to the solararch and change the large moor distance to 20 or so and change the docking priority for the ship to a large moor. Don't forget to skip the gocking scene once it begins or you might get stuck.
2Wanderer:
Could you please tell me if you mod supposed to work in a multiplayer?
I was piloting Kusari battleship online and I saw some other guy with a Nomad battleship and he changed his ini files like 10 times and logged off and logged on while I was online and no server crashes.
With Osiris mod - I don't know if it crashes the server or I just get disconnected but it did not work for me. So, obviously, I don't want to use smth that crashes the servers other people play. That's why I asked the question.

Since i don't play multiplayer (Slow connection), i have no way of telling how its done. Probably its due to the server having the basic same files in its shiparch if i'm any judge. Unless i'm mistaken, variations can exist but require the server to have the base set out first.
As for putting battleships available in criminal bases, look for their designation in the market ships ini and making the appropriate changes.

Theres a thread around here that explains what each and every data header is in the market ships file. For instance Li01_01 is Planet Manhattan. Since i don't remember which base it is you want, just take the dreadnought line from the market ships file and place it in the data headerr you want overwriting the ship previously there. You can tell which one it is if the numbers are like so:
marketgood = bfr_package, 4, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1
The first one is the level required to buy it so it varies. But the rest of the numbers are more or less the same for available ships at that base.

If its the Vogtland base, then go to Rh05_04_Base.

I think it would be very cool if the computer could have some cruisers gunboads and even battleships in the SP (not in storymissions!!!) and im MP.
Its fun to crush an Rheinland cruiser with DIAMONDBACK
SO here is my question:
Is it possible to have Battleship, crusiers and Gunboats which are flying aruond, and attacking you if you are hostile ?? Htese ships could carry REALLY strong weapons and turrets. In MP, that means, if you are pirat, be quick or be toast.But if you got some friends you could try to crush them out.
It this possible???
