Ever since I first saw the demo (and played it through 4 times before i got the full game.. which was only about three days later.. hehe.. yes I was kinda late coming onto the scene I guess but better late than never
) I was hoping that you (the player) would be able to fly big ships like the cruisers and the battleships. As I played through the game I began to realise that it was very unlikely that you would be able to do so. So, naturally, rather than accepting that, I decided to see what was to be done about it. Make a long story short, I eventually found this editting forum.. Wanderer I am in your debt man
Anyway, this isn't the reason I am posting this, the reason is actually this:
You were saying above the the "Battleship Flipping" problem was solved by setting the nudge_force to 25 billion or so. I did this with the osiris, however, it doesn't help.. it still flips over when things hit me. Any ideas why..?
Also, as for the last post about the missiles doing figure 8s, I think that must be because the trade ring has it's center right in between the eight little corner thingies (4 for the top and 4 for the bottom), which is open space; so the missiles aim for the center of the object, and hit empty space, then turn and try again.. hitting empty space again. That's my theory anyway, since the selection rectangle is based right in the middle
