The Kraken does come in a class 9 version. Get it from Ruiz Base, Omicron Beta
Also, to the shield thing, you can get a level 10 Molecular shield. Can't remember where you buy it though

Yes- the Adv. Brigandine shield (molecular I think).
You can buy it at either Planet Malta (Omnicron Alpha, run by Outcasts) or Crete (Omnicron Gamma, run by Corsairs).
There may be other places to buy it, but I forget.

first off all is the shield a positron based protection shield, capacitie some above 800, regen about 200 (if i'm right).
buyable on planet crete (corsair, omicron gamma) and malta (outcast, omicron alpha) as you can read above my post. buyable on the base leon (corsair, omega-41).

Did you know that there is a class 10 turret? The Nomad Turret on the gunboats and battleships. Not usable, or for that matter, gettable, but it does exist. I think that it's class 10, though I may be wrong.

Don't do it in the Unknowns. Do it on the Omicron side of the jump hole. And it may take a while, so be patient.
