Hey Eskie, I''m huntin'' Wabbitsees!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Well, 1500

We keep this thread going much longer, it's going to need it's own zip code.

Post Sun Oct 07, 2007 7:50 am

looks like "Tors" didn't get up in time.....

Post Sun Oct 07, 2007 11:58 am

I thought about it but then, the idea of other people blowing my trumpet for me seemed much appealing. That and the double post I needed to get to 1500 when I last logged on would only have played into Taw's theory that I would stoop to desperate measures.

Now for the 2nd birthday so we can enjoy more cake. Just no carrot cake.*spits*

Post Sun Oct 07, 2007 1:15 pm

I didnt know Tors was into blowing his own trumpet, let alone letting others do it for him?

Post Sun Oct 07, 2007 1:31 pm

Well I am flexible, once somebody does it I don't really mind.

Ah, more than 1500 posts. Huzzah! Once again, this thread is a testament to the glory of Esquilaxitavia, and TLR's resident Rabbit-King! All praise his name! I miss being a Rabbit-God though *sigh*. Anyway, at least we are still introducing new material... some anyway. Although sometimes I feel that we are going in circles like... some sort of... Ginger Beer-related simile. But is that a bad thing? I don't know...

Anyway, as for these continuing claims that Ginger Beer has a deleterious effect on health, they are lies! Scurrilous lies! False information provided by biased people, who haven't even conducted any empirical trials! Esquilaxitavia has been trialling Ginger beer therapy for 20 years, and the benefits have been most impressive.

As for the rumours of vandalism in "Nanonesia", don't look at me; I was at a family wedding yesterday. And no, there wasn't any GB; I had to settle with Ginger Ale with fresh lime. Not bad, but 'twasn't GB. Anyway, the alleged vandalism could have been the work of pro-Rabbit supporters; there are everywhere you know, even in Tawakalnistan. You don't believe me? Well...

See?

At times I feel as though I am a tortured participant in a Beckett play.

"tortured paticipant in a Beckett play."

Tortured and participant would be a redundancy in this case.

Post Mon Oct 08, 2007 8:19 am

you don't know the first thing about torture. come on holiday to Tawakalnistan sometime and we'll show you some UN-financed football stadium fun. being trapped in an ever-repeating thread about a giant Chimaera is child's play in comparison.

The hare-horse thing gets around: Linky
Since when do YOU offer personal advice, you hairy beasty-thing?

Post Mon Oct 08, 2007 3:33 pm

by the peaks of Angband.. it's breakfast tv chat time with Uncle "Geraldo" Esskweelacks In the Name of the Outer Darkness, just as I thought the Rabbit was at least contained here on TLR by the power of the One Ring, I find that he's publicising his vile pacifist neo-feudal pseudo/quasi anarchistic wishy-washy potion-guzzling nonsense to the world! and to children! it's a tragedy of epic proportions... humanity humbled and routed by a bunny-donkey thing. advertising ginger beer, no less! does this incorporeal Beast have no shame?

I'll never read that comic again!

"Esquilax is online now." pah, flippin' rubbish. I hope you have fun with your new "friends" - for as long as it lasts! <sniff> flippin' rabbits. I won't have any more pets!

I think I'm going to join and ruin it for you. There's no escaping The Lancers Reactor for you, Flopsey Mopsey Fluffytail. This is your warren. And as far as you're concerned, I'm like erm a Captain of Owsla. So no sneaking off to "other" sites. We'll track you down.

Myself I stick to BBC "Have Your Say" where I complain about taxes, television, young people and policemen a lot. And that's perfectly acceptable.

Esquilax
Sagacious Eccentric

Esquilax is online now
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Age: 26

Esq is just 26???? I thought he'd be at least in his mid 30's No wonder the rabbit loves the GB. He's a youngun.

Post Mon Oct 08, 2007 4:29 pm

That's not me, it must be that other Esquilax... *Hangs head* How embarrassing 'tis to be found out after only a week or so . *Sigh* I am studying the forum's "reputation system", which I find to be quite intriguing, and that is the main reason for my presence there. As for my advice, it's not personal, it's theoretical, and I offer it where it is welcome. Besides, I know the poster (to some extent), and I have seniority and, therefore, wisdom (hopefully) to impart. Besides, perhaps I was in a similar situation once and can empathise. Yes, perhaps it is so... or maybe not. In any case, thanks for telling everyone Mee.

Taw - Don't blame me; I have literally nothing to do here at work because both of my superiors are away for the week and, even when one of them wuz 'ere, he wasn't sending me the details on the report that he would like me to complete. In addition, they still haven't upgraded the development servers, so I can't even test the code modifications that I completed last Monday. Plus, TLR posters are nowhere near as prolific and I'm bored. What's a rabbit to do? Anyway, it's not as if you bother to come on MSN and speak to me when I am at work (Monday to Thursday), so it's your fault that I have strayed! Anyway, I'll still have time for you old man, do you really think that I'd surrender and hand over Esquilaxitavia to your oppressive rule? I think not! Oh, and what's this about "new friends"? I hardly know those people. It would take a long time before I offered them that title.

Swiss/Indy - Beckett? You mean you haven't read his famous play, "Waiting for Esky"? Shame!

Final - I would have preferred to keep that under my hat, but a request was made. I should go and hide that... As for you, my age was mentioned in my "Birthday" thread last year! It's not my fault that your memory is failing ye! Anyway, I'm older than my years; chronological age is not the only way to mark the passage of time...

P.S. Mee... you bastard! I will have my revenge on you, Judas!

there's only one Judas here, Wabbit, and he's got unfeasibly large ears and a penchant for fresh GB.

Post Mon Oct 08, 2007 5:04 pm

*Assumes British accent* That's roobish, that is! Ye're saying that a rabbit can't visit more than than forums? Aww, Taw's jealous! Aren't ye, you old Scouser? There, there, have some GB. *Proffers Ginger Beer* You could always join me over there. They may appreciate your "unique" brand of... "Tawishness" .
