Hey Eskie, I''m huntin'' Wabbitsees!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

"Tors"/Taw(s) (the two names sound very similar don't they? Interestin' innit?) - Is it possible that my biting and ironic post was missed by both of ye? Shame! As for rabbits, they don't drink petroleum products or caustic soda, etc. Only purified water and GB. Oh, and carrot juice if they are in the mood. In addition, "Tors" isn't moving into the Burrow, no-one is. Believe me, we already have one unwelcome guest (a mangy rat-like Staffordshire terrier that we don't even own!), and we ain't havin' no more.

As for *you* "Ricky" and your mongrel of a dog (), bah! The Rabbit-King's royal Pyrenean Mountain Dog (sample photograph here, although the Rabbit-King's animal is MUCH taller, lankier and has superior colouration) will take care of all challengers!

@Esqui: Nope, I did not misread the meaning of "that" remark, it just suited me more to misrepresent it.

As for moving in with "IT", Taw is indeed correct, differences in species aside our conflicting standards in moral tone may be too much of a hurdle to overcome.

@Taw: You know, I actually believe you too. Ah well!

"Tors" - I never lie! except to the UN Inspectors, but that's part of the game when you run a small pariah nation.

but now to the grist..

Flopsey, this is the second time that you've tried to equate your most pious and munificent Mullah with the tawdry Tors Denneti, in a pathetic attempt to deflect my just and accurate criticism that this entire spam-filled festival of futility is nothing more than an advertisement for your online presence. Where else can your GB-fuelled delusions reach a worldwide audience, corrupting youth with exhortations to imbibe your foul fermentations? How else can you glean the technical knowledge to assist you in your 5-year mission to upgrade Typhon to a P75? By what other means can you endeavour to gain recruits to your lapine legions, seeing as your fluffy-tailed chums can't resist despoiling the countryside even on the march to war, when by contrast, all i need to do is climb to the top of one of the Grand Palace's minarets and call the faithfool to arms in a noble jihad against rabbitkind? (mosque not palace, my keyboard keeps transposing the letters for some reason, dam' cheap Indycorp keyboards...)

I'm simply saying that the similarity of the two monikers is an interesting coincidence, especially considering the fact that you have a penchant for multiple accounts. In addition, "Tors" is clearly anti-Chimaera (and anti-rabbit) which is also interesting. More sagacious readers may notice such similarities, and I want them to know that I have noticed them too. Of course, your constant denials will simply fuel the speculation and make people more suspicious... Ah yes, it's all falling into place...

Now, I will systematically respond to your outrageous accusations. As for your first allegation, remember that I did not create or instigate this thread in any way. It was the foolishness of "Tors" that resulted in the birth of this thread, and he deserves all of the abuse for allowing things to go this far. In regards to your second allegation, there are many forms of media that could be used to promote GB. Indeed, there are a number of sites that praise the beverage in question, and such sites are far more likely to attract a cult following than an idiosyncratic Chimaera on a space combat-related gaming site!

As for your third allegation, you provide a second opinion and recommendations on occasion, and have never been called upon to resurrect Typhon; I can do that myself (assuming that I ever let it happen in the first place). And me olde PC? You leave him alone! The fact that he is still running (and running bloody well) is a testament to his construction and my "skillz" as the young'uns say. In regard to your final allegation, I do not seek recruits, I merely provide a path to enlightenment through the medium of logic, rationality and fermented non-alcoholic beverages. And what's wrong wif 'at 'en, guv? Finally, the rabbit hordes do not *destroy*; you humans do. When was the last time you saw a rabbit strip-mining and playing with uranium? What's that? Never? Exactly.

Oh, as for your keyboard, you have the temerity to attack Typhon when you can't even type on properly on your own PC? Ha! Perhaps you need to invest in more RAM, as your current 64k obviously doesn't preventing typing bottlenecks!

*giggles*

A giggle? Aw shucks . That's first time that one of my posts has acquired that particular response since I first started posting on internet-based forums. Free GB for everyone! *Hands out Ginger Beer to all and sundry*

Post Mon Oct 01, 2007 10:56 pm

too much GB makes you imagine strange things.

Post Tue Oct 02, 2007 5:06 am

@Esqui: Well you did get a few *snorfles* in your time but considering the source of the giggle I would have to agree with the reaction.

Post Tue Oct 02, 2007 3:10 pm

That's the best you can do Taw? Ginger Beer causes hallucinations? *Waves paw dismissively* Bah, a weak and watery attempt at best. Shame!

Swiss - 'tis true, and I haven't snorffled for a long time. After all, there hasn't been much to snorffle at. *Sigh*

Post Tue Oct 02, 2007 11:33 pm

@Esqui: Well I would try to make you snorfel with a few old style Taw Jokes, you konw, "This Taw walked into a shop and said..." type stuff. I won't though, considering the lack of warm and loving "hot toweled" hugs that "Tors" is getting right now I doubt very much the Mullet would appreciate any crap coming from my corner.

"doesn't preventing typing bottlenecks"

For someone as fastidious as yourself, it is very amusing to see that you've allowed so much time to pass without correcting your mistake in grammar.
