For once I agree with Z (well, at least partially). This is too complicated for me. looks like a tapescript from some soap opera. I'm not drunk enough to understand it.

Originally, it was A + X OR A + B IF X = 0.
Then it changed to C + B.
Now it is D + B - C.

Hmm, makes perfect sense to me

In all of this, however, we really haven't got to

B is A's Backup
B is going with C and refuses D but is supposed to go with A

Here's a theory, maybe C is B's back-up date but he found out that D was available, so C got relegated. The fact that A had B as a back-up date doesn't give her the right to act all pissy, because she is doing exactly the same thing. Just cause you tack back-up on the front doesn't mean squat, you either have a date or you don't. B was probably really hurt that A thought he was only second best. That's the problem with females, they are too focused on their own feelings to realise that other people hurt too.
