That's the problem with females, they are too focused on their own feelings to realise that other people hurt too.

Amen to that one, i think the entire thing would be easily fixed if...

1. Find one date that you know you like, not just someone so you have a date.
2. Dont mess with "backup dates", even from my wonderful high school thats lame.

And finally a little O.T., why must you guys turn this into algebra. Im on summer break, I dont need to be seeing any of that when I have finally got my calculus out of my dreams at night.

You can't give your opinion Neo? Damn, we're really missing out . That'll teach you to make all of those modem jokes!

LOL.

Oh yeah, you've got me beat hands down Esqy. Hands down.

@Neo

Barbie's REAL date to the prom is GI Joe. But just in case GI Joe can't make it, she asked Ken to stand in as a backup date.

Then, Barbie's friend Homely Girl checked in with Barbie to see if she could ask Ken to the prom. Barbie said OK so Homely Girl asked Ken to go with her and Ken said yes.

THEN Hot Stuff Girl also checked in with Barbie about Ken and Barbie told Hot Stuff Girl that Homely Girl already asked Ken out.

Hot Stuff Girl said never mind that, I'll ask Ken anyway. Hot Stuff Girl called Ken and asked him out and Ken said yes to Hot Stuff Girl thus, presumably, dumping Homely Girl. However, what I just realized is that Ken might have been angling for a threesome.

For the thousanth time B's feelings are NOT hurt
Anyway I got a message for you guys

hello boys...
this is A here...
hope u had fun TRYING to analyse the situation, but if i can take a direct
translation from afriKaans : u have the cat by the tail!!!

this dude "B" has the incapability of not being able to say NO, because of lots of other reasons
which i do not now feel like expanding on...

he WAS only my back-up because i have the ability to **** things up, if i plan too far ahead
my plans go c0ck-eyed... i need back-ups in my life (in general) otherwise my life would be the
biggest c0ck-up of them all... B agrees with that state of mind and that is why i'm still his
back-up, if his date fails to materialise...

C asked B & B said yes... bt he also said it was most probly only a maybe

D has the ability to manipulate a situation to her advantage, which together with the fact that B
cannot say NO, culminated to the fact that the poor guy didnt knw which way to move. the lucky
bastred got out of the problem very easily because on the day after the prom he has to rite some
or other pre-lim... i believe him...

so there's the short and sweet of it all, if you still dont understand, oh, well, try algebra
again, it might one day maybe work, if this topic retains your attention for that long... probly
not.

caio
A

ps ppl in general r filled with insecurities, guys just get the ego bubble... if you want to
understand women, you first of all hv to knw evrything of that woman + the fact that we r
more prone to caring and being responsible, we react like we do...

I showed her the thread and that is what came from her

You're taking all the fun out this s_w.

Post Wed Jul 28, 2004 10:54 am

no I'm not
now you can ponder new thoeries
like if he is telling the truth, stuff like that
But she wanted to reply

Post Wed Jul 28, 2004 12:01 pm

This would be much less confusing if it wasnt for the backup date thingy,
wtf is the point of a backup date? I don't get it.

Post Wed Jul 28, 2004 12:16 pm

its another thing females invented to confuse the hell out of us....

Post Wed Jul 28, 2004 12:25 pm

Well no threesome then and, actually, Barbie's reply says I was right all along. Ken didn't think his OK to Homely Girl was binding anyway.
