Knights of the Old Republic

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Knights of the Old Republic

Hey, does anyone know if there is a way to switch the game to first person view, either through a mod somewhere or be some command console command. I tried a google search, but I really don't have time to filter through all the unrelated stuff that pops up. Thanks.

Nope. The game is played STRICTLY from a third-person point of view. It was designed that way. The sequel's going to be the same way. You can't mod this game.

Sequel!?!? Why didn't anyone tell me?!?!

*Runs over to Lucasarts* Damn! I was on there yesterday, and I missed it! Still, I can't wait!

By the way, you CAN mod KOTOR. I've downloaded several mods.

Yeah well, I was busy at the time. Damn Audigy 2 ZS with no reverb in JKA *grumble*.

@Eskie: Where are these mods you speak of? Knights of the Old Republic: Sith Lords is the official name of the sequel. I've got an issue of Computer Gaming World where it's the cover story. I must say, it's looking really, really, good.

I would not mind trying the game, just have to wait till the price comes down. $49.95 is a little too much to pay unless it is a Final Fantasy Game.

A LITTLE TOO MUCH!?!?!? Must wolf down non-beliver! (Eats Final Day) BUURP! okay, where were we? Oh yeah, KOTOR 2! I can't wait! I absolutly loved the first one, can't wait for sith lords. Is it just me, or on the logo did the sith and jedi look like the same person? Hmm..... It sounds so...so...Familiar........

ShadowFire789 then gets a very bad case of heartburn.

I'm with you Fd. $50 bucks for these games is nuts. Especially since the great seer of game bargains, Taw-A-Kal-Na has shown me the way to $1.99 gamedom.

*sigh*

Still stinking it up in Starlancer but it is amazing what a cheap purchase price will do to one's patience.

It will eventualy come down as all games do, then I will get it. Like RTCW, it was $49.99 as well and now its down to $19.99. More my price.

Post Thu May 06, 2004 6:16 pm

Man, I'm gonna buy it when it comes out. I don't give a damn about the 50 dollar price tag.

I can't wait for the new one to come out so the old one will go down in price ... then I'll get that.

Fine, have all of my secrets!

Mods for KOTOR can be found on the Lucas Forums in a forum called "Holowan Laboratories". I'd put in a link, but I have a meeting in fifteen minutes .
