Modern Weaponry

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Modern Weaponry

Continuing on from the outrageous success of my medieval "Weaponry" thread , here is a place to discuss modern weaponry and tactics. You know, firearms, missiles, bombs, ICBMs, Tanks, Artillery, etc. So, let's get the ball rolling; favourite firearms, anyone? I think that rifles such as the P90 and Steyr Aug are quite good. There are "better" guns out there, but those two can be used in many different roles.

This is a hard one. The last time I fired a weapon, was in 1981 and it was an M16. If I ever took up target practice, I would probably use either a 22 or a 30-06.

Until that final day. /Keith Green\ (1953-1983)

Wolfy has access to firearms? If that's not proof that US gun control is lax, I don't know what is!

I have a penchant for Lee Enfield .303's, lovely looking rifle. I don't really like new rifles all that much, too much plastic. Besides according to Al Jeezera a crusty old Iraqi farmer was able to bring down an Apache helicopter with his Lee Enfield.

*imagines wolf with an old sega duck-hunting gun*

No really what kind is it?

*Has vivid image of Wolfy sitting on bed polishing rifle mumbling to himself* Now that's scary!

The closest thing i have to a real gun is a BB m-16 and a BB SPAS Shotgun

For every TIE Fighter you destroy,a thousand more take its place-Anonymous Imperial TIE Pilot

Don't worry. I don't even have anything that even looks like a gun. Well, except for my Star Trek Phaser Remote Control... Don't look at me like that! It was a gift from my 21st!

Sweet!

I have a pellet rifle and a CO2 BB pistol and then there are a few odd firearms lying around that my dad has acumulated but nothing interesting. However, city living doesn't leave any room for playing with them

Colt .45 1911A1s are nice, but I've always wanted to get my hands on a .50 Desert Eagle. Someday when I have a spare $1500 I'll get one.

Gotta love the old hand cannon, i'd love to fire of a few rounds with one of them. Highly illegal in Australia though, we are restricted to bolt action rifles only. Unless you've got special dispensation, some farmers are allowed semi-automatics.

Yeah, gotta love the DEagle(that is one BIG gun!)
My favourites would have to be the colt M4A1 carbine, Ak-47, P90, any anything else that has a caliber above .1 inches that fires faster than 2m/s(or, basiclly, fires faster than i can throw)
My dad has a couple of .303 1919 rifles lying around somewhere(cant find the bullets though )
I was thinking of desining and building a .52 handgun after i duplicate the crossbow on half life(pretty cool gun eh?)
i like the FN 5.7mm pistol though, very sleek!
