Question: I bought a courier mission of Med prisoners to be delivered to Fort Bush cost $500 payment $1250. I got to Fort Bush from LPI Sugarland in less than 5 mins. They only paid me $100 a total $1500 for the 15 I paid $7500 @ $500 a piece. Why did it not work?

I found a fix for this problem only problem is I'm not a modder and have no idea how to install this fix. Like I've said b4 I'm not a computer person. But I do LOVE to play Freelancer and this mod has give it new life thanks so much Mace.

And now I've found a nice flmod fix for it. You guys are great.

Bug

Boston>2k from Davies Hideaway>ctd

Panama>ship dealer at Carter stronghold ctd
California>Williard research 1k ctd
Omega3> 5k from gate ctd coming from Douglas station near anomaly that does not show on navmap nor can it be selected.
Wilkinson stronghold with navmap course set ctd when selects bar/doesnt occur if you have no course set.
Ross-154>ctd when select bar at Merlin Orbital.
Chicago>Campbell station> select ship ctd

Why can't I dock with Rickenbacker base in Omega 5? I can dock with Hauvin and Ronnenburg. I'm green with Red Hessians (I'm there bud).

Hi Harmony,

Rickebacker base is a destroyable Long Range Mission target as I remember,
blow it up and tractor in the nice drops

As far as I remember all of your bugs have been reported yet, at least by me
while doing about 600 hrs playtesting

But you're right it's better to post a bug twice than not at all.

kudos and congrats to you mace for this AWESOME mod. i've played a few mods before frontierspace, but yours takes the cake. it's been fun flying all over "new sirius" and getting the cardamine shot out of me by various villains and nasties.

any work of such a huge scope is bound to have a few problems, and i commend you and guys like ripper and bejaymac for finding solutions and helping non-modders such as myself.

now i don't feel so bad giving my bug report.

the most serious CTD's i've come across are as follows:
1. any attempt to enter lalande 21185 system, from any jumpgate or jumphole in surrounding systems.
2. random CTD's in various locations of eastern coalition systems. i'd read about patrol path encounters (?) causing problems before, so for grins i managed to re-enter procyon and just park by sinclair's landing, just to see if perhaps certain ships would cause a crash. something sure did, but i didn't see who or what it was.

sorry i can't provide more information than this. i'm no modder, but am willing to help however i can.

@Bill Hilly, cheers for your comments. Hopefully the next version will be even better.

Things have been going pretty well, i've gone trhough a fair bit of playtesting, FlScan and Flspew. Added almost all of the things i plan for this version. The rundown of things to add:
01. Empathy. I made a bit of a mess of this in the first release so, i want to make sure this is done properly.
02. Changing a few factions to have Ioncross friendly names.
03. Unique title animation
04. Ioncross Datafiles
05. Add unique loot to Capital ships.
Yup, thats about it. Not a lot really. I do need to go around every system and sort through the flspew for each one. I will just use Opensp to spawn in each system, spend a few mins and sort through it. There is quite a few hard to understand errors that pop up now and again. Not the common ones, i think they are linked to things like having a robot run a animation that it wasn't meant to.

Cheers for the feedback, but i've heard one related to that before. There is a dodgy junker patrol that ends there and it causes the crash. Let me know if you need a hand leaving the base.

Hi Mace,

well first off all nice MOD, me and some friends love it.
Hope you will release a new version soon, sometimes youre MOD have problems with Ioncross but hope you will fix it.

btw. is it ok, when i host it on a dedicated server? currently we only play pw hidden.

Hi _Gabriel_, i do know about the problem Ioncross has with reading some of the faction names. They have a restriction on being 15 chars or less and some are a bit over.
I've fixed it for the next release. Is that the only problem or is there other ones too?
For running a server right now its ok i don't mind people running the game on their servers. But, for the next release I have been asked to limit the flserver file to get the community playing on one server (at least at first). The next version has a unique version number so you need a modified flserver.exe in order to play it.
You can connect to your own machine in LAN by adding an entry to the shortcut or a batch file or something, this way you could connect to a multiplayer server run from your machine but others couldn't.
I'm not really trying to be difficult, its just i want to have a go at getting most of the FS players on to Rippers 24/7@BS server.

remember me? i couldn't get the mod to start properly in open SP.

well, i fixed it. i didn't know to activate both the multiplayer and the openSP mods.

so i started playing, and OMG!!! this is exactly what i had come to expect from a freelancer mod, i'm exploringto my heart's content without having to battle enemies (that comes later)

Ok I got outta of the last problem.
However now I am unable to leave "Alderman outpost" keeps crashing.

Hope you have the new version ready soon, I'm awful tired of ctd's. It seems thats all that I do these days.
