@BlackAssimilation: problem sorta fixed am sending you the Li01.ini and Li05.ini files directly.

@deathspace, yep, found the same thing. the only thing I can recommend at this point is to run the game unmodified 'til you get past that point then load up AC clanwars. I had no problem playing the storyline w/ the last release until the prez mission. so if you have a saved game from before it will work.

Hello all,

This mod is very fun, no problems, just one question. How come there aren't any jobs in the new system? I have not been to all of them yet but the i have been to tell me i'm not friendly enough and there is no one in the bars but the Bartender.
I've only been to 20 systems so far in about 6 hours of playing. The Klingon wardbird kicks ass with nomad lasers( the $14000 ones ). Thx again.

Not Sure why there are no missions I have added them to all the new systems But for Some Strange Reason They have none :-( i have fixed the mbases Files by Putting the

Offer_missions = true

And i have added Mission Zones If anyone has any surgestions Whould be Helpfull

Hi, i got this old problem: after activating AC2.33, I lauched Freelancer but it only shows the intro picture (i've disable the intro movie) of AC and then crash to desktop. I've tried reinstalled Freelancer more than 4 times but it's no use (I also deleted all save games).

did you remove the startup movie w/ a mod or by editing w/ ;.... . if you edited, ( I did this once forgot where it's done) I suggest returning things to the way they were. once you have a saved game you won't get it anymore. of course don't forget to slap SDK1.3 onto the game files before loading up a mod. and of course (I've found I've had to do this sometimes, for some reason FL gets balky about loading) do a defrag and scan disc and then another defrag before loading FL.
but I'm pretty sure it has something to do w/ the way you removed the intro movie.

When ( or if ) you have to reinstall , couldn't we just instead keep a copy of the Freelancer directories so if something goes wrong you can " rollback " to before you activate a MOD. Or does Freelancer alter the registry for its settings ?

Yes You Can here What To DO

1 unistall Freelancer Completly remove all files
2 Reinstall Freelancer Dir of your Choice
3 Make 3 Other Freelancer Dir " i just Put fl fl1 fl2 fl3 fl4 "
4 Select all Files In Freelancer Dir And Copy them To fl1 fl2 fl3 fl4
5 Now using Flmm U can swap Between Fl1 fl2 fl3 fl4 "i have 1 For clanwars 1 for my own server 1 For editing From 1 just in case S*** and the original Dir to replace Faulty Fl dirs

This Method Works Reall Well as long as You DO NOT USE ORIGINAL FL DIR

I have just gone through steps 1 and 2 and I am replaying SP unmodified getting close to mission 11 where all the troubles started. In Clanwar 2.33 I could not get to Alaska. After the jumpgate cinematics, I landed on the desktop instead
I uninstalled cleaned out all Freelancer files, purged the registry of anything Freelancer to be on the safe side.
I installed again in the original location, played up to and into mission 11 with just the SDK installed. Boy this post is getting big.
I could see having this set of direstories :
c:\program files\michosoft games\Freelancer
c:\program files\michosoft games\Fl1
c:\program files\michosoft games\Fl2
etc.
renaming them before playing a big mod : one for version 2.33, one for version 2.1, and others as needed.
But if FLMM can work with differnt direstories I will give it a go.
What about the MyGames Freelancer files, should I make a copy of the whole directories as well ?

Pls help out this noob

@ insideout and everybody else:
what I've heard/found out/ have experienced (in that order) is instead of keeping 3 copies of FL files in different directories, you can just run SDk1.3. it runs through and basically lays down new files, corrected, no less, by members of our community! yes, correcting Mickeyslop's work. it's a quick reload. still, there is something to be said for a clean install w/ sdk1.3 on top.
I have collaborated w/ BlackAssimilation on the 11/13 mission quirks.
BA has the files to fix these, ask him! it's his mod. I'm a 2nd yr comp student, and I stress 'student'. one who likes to help out. If he doesn't answer soon enough for you and you absoulutly have to have the fix, dig back through the post and you'll find my e-addy.
But give the mod maker his due, ask him. let him know you've been playing it.

As our Flight Captain has sugested, I'll say this to BA and all in the Clanwar continuum. I have been playing it. I have maxed out 2.1 twice before starting activating 2.33. In 2.33 I was having a glorious time going through SP story in a fully loaded Eagle (capital E) and then I got dumped to the desktop ;!%$ ouch!!.
BA, if you've got files to fix the mission 11 problems, I will thank you for them.

This mod is awesome, one of the best (add on's) available. Once the crash to desktop on sp, mission 11, has a good resolve, life will be good again.

In single Player
One Question One bug report

Does this game play past mission 11 or does it only crash? Is 2.33 fixed??

I have taken a finished, single player saved game from an unmodded time I finished the game, with a standard game ship , on Manhattan. I loaded this in the the My Games\ . . .\Singleplayer folder after loading the mod. [I have found this to work well with almost all mods and I keep my level and my money. I do not play on-line. The AC 2.33 mod works fine but with one problem. When I buy a mod added ship I can use it and land and equip it on any base that is in the original game. But when I land on places added by AC 2.33 mod, it crashes when I go the the equipment room. It does not crash with a standard game ship. It does not crash when ship buying or in other places. why does this happen?

DUDE!!!!!! The mod is making me go nucking futs!!!!! Everytime I get ready for the first mission, the game minimizes and I cant restore the game and it freezes it which then I have to 3 button bang to stop the game. Are there any suggestions in how to alieviate this bug?
