just started playing SP seems good!!

Well after a lot of messing about managed to get that borg cube/sphere
Lucky found old save with Sabre and lev38 plus about 10mill and it loaded in OK lucky was in Kusari space so found Borg collective system no probs good larf doing SP missions in that sphere.

Found the Sith and Raven claw but spec on claw2 not working properly

I got a slight problem with the new upgrade from 2.33 to 2.34, i install it and the games runs really good, until i try to head into the Federation Space system comming from Magellan.

Sometimes it causes the server to crash and sometimes it does not, it seems to be intermittant problem.

Usually it hapens when i'm launching from a base or docking with something (including trade lanes).

I'll be going back to 2.33 for a bit to see if it still crashes. I was playing oit for about 6 hours fine though other systems, but as soon as i enter Federation (or someone else on my server does) it crashes the server.

Anyone got any ideas on that one?


I just tried it on 2.33 and confirmed that it crashes still, but not as much as 2.34.

I have tried the following to fix it.

deleted my Freelancer Directory (not uninstalled), then re-install freelancer.
deleted my characters and server accounts records.
deleted my savegames
ininstalled FLMM 1.3 and deleted all Mods, then re-installed it and activated AC2 Clanwars2.33 - Factions (and the 2.34 update when i was try in 2.34)

still crashes.

for now i'm just going to try get out of the system and go somewhere else.

GRRR, now its crashing in all Systems, cant even start a new character and play for a bit now.

Strange tried to connect to the Cursed Earth server and get crash back to desktop every time!!

SP game seems OK though,
Found Voyager and flying round doing SP missions real larf using klingon/borg weapons in Federation ship got that Borg shield really good.

Is there 2 versions of AC Clanwars 2.34 and 2.34-factions?
On one online server I run ok (using factions 2.34)- Jenx-ac2 clanwars 2.34
but on [Freelancer - Clanwars server It gives server unavailable and it says in the server description " You must download Clanwars 2.33 and the patch (NOT Factions)" (which I took to mean the 2.34 update).

Where is 2.33 +patch available from if they are different?

Good question.
I tried to make a server and all I keep doing is crashing to desktop and taking the server with me. Am trying it threw Lan.
Anyone know of a way to fix the trouble or is this a very unstable mod for crashing ???

got to the mission where you have to race Trent is there any way round this ??
Saw somewhere that in this mod you could refuse to race but still win tried that but did not work

In this mod there does not seem to be a fast ship that can beat him

Found that Federation system and something really strange happened
docked with Voyager but when launched got stuck however if i buy enterprize can launch from small stations
Tried docking at that Federation planet but always get CTD.

Notice you do not advertise your MP server anymore

I can't get this to work! I go to download and it downloads exactly 50% of the file then says download complete and cause it isn't all downloaded it wont run.
Wtf do i do?

OK, here we go. I don't know about the rest of the world, but I like to play games. I love to be taken into another world, another story, a quick break from reality. But FOR THE LOVE OF PETE!!! I don't want to spend endless hours floating around space trying to find these so-called new systems. I want to be able to enjoy them and the creativity put into them by other members, but this isn't my life. I'm 25, happily married working for a living. I like to spend 1, maybe 2 hours at a time gaming. It's enough. I CANNOT find that damn borg system, and I get impatient after 45 minutes. Don't you? I am not impatient, But I do want to see these cool places. Can any one point me to any resources that help HINT as to where these systems are, jumpholes and stuff, and the borg systesm. They rock. Thanks for letting me vent. I'm going to bed before Iformat.
