i have downloaded v2.0,2.1,2.2,2.31 of this mod as the mods were posted, and succesfully played the first 3 up to v2.31. after i downloaded v2.31 i cannot unzip it, it gives me the error " the central directory was not found in the archive." would you please inform me how to unzip this mod and install it in the FLMMbeta10?? thank you for your prompt replies.

Has anyone even had my problem? Or is it unique to me? And how come it didnt happen with 2.2?

Well it's a great mod but the size it becoming why to high, the last version was like 35 megs. Is there any chance that the mod could be put out in updates?

I cant unpack the mod either , downloaded it twice too .

I have the same problem with the rescue mission of the president , the SUN navpoint and the lot. I havent got an answer yet, but patience is a virtue.

CTD occurences, upon docking w/ Intrepid in MIlky way, also when clicking on ship dealer on earth/milkyway.
I ended up w/ BOB on manhattan and the t9 shuttle. BOB rocks for an early ship.
I think the starflyer is universally hated. like the idea of making the starting ship the t9 shuttle. also cannot do the cockpit view when flying the voyager, in 3rd person view the disc is annoyingly in the way. could that be fixed? along w/ any other large ships?
kick..s modeling jobs.
fill in the bars more and add more missions and more ship add on stuff. upgradable power/weap/armor and you will have a heavy weight mod.

I have a problem During story line mission from buffalo base way point is set on the sun, I checked with DataStorm and it shows that the in system jumphole is gone with this mod. My question is can this be corrected with a update? good mod either way,

I've a problem
When I download the mod (35 mb) it stops around 31.6 mb and when i try to install i get this message "The Central directory was not found in the archive ( or you were trying to open not the last disk of a multi-disk archive )"
Please advize ?

I'd like to play through SP using this mod but I'd like to start out with enough credits to use Voyager or Enterprise. Is there any way I can change the amount of starting credits? I tried the Credits mod by Chips but it just causes the game to crash. Any other way to up the starting credits?

@freakzilla: just deal w/ it. you'll get cash readillly enough, getting there is half the fun.
@onyx and all others: found a fix for the prez/satilite mission.
I used BiniQDU(available here on TLR) and added the following between the 'X' lines leaving no open ones before or after.
use 'jump' as the search word. that'll get you there readily enough.

I've been playing FL since the day it was released. I've played through SP multiple times and now I just want to use Voyager or Enterprise. If I wanted to "deal with it", why would I even use the mod? Does anyone have a real answer?

I believe there is a saved game editor you might try in the downloads section, there is also the BiniQDU I mentioned. you might use that to breeze through the missions.ini file, deduce which one corrosponds to the first mission and change the pay. Or if you want to wait for someone to reply, you could e-mail some of the more well known modders (chips,cardamine)directly. means of contacting them can be found on this site I believe. ask them how to alter what you need.
BiniQDU is rather easy to use.
