Sorry if I blew my top earlier, Just under alot of stress. Also just got back from the doctor and I've been really sick, just lost 15 pounds in the last month, I only weighed 135 to begin with. Need to goto a specialist and get lots of tests done...which as you all know means lots of money..I need to get insurance.

Actaully just to be honest it's not really a new baby. My family is having some real problems so my 4 year old nephew is coming to live with us for awhile. If things are going the way they are we will be adopting him and I don't know the first thing about being a father. So I am happy but at the same time really worried.

So needless to say my thoughts have not been very focused on the mod.

Man, sorry you're sick and all! Hope ya get better soon.

I'll tackle adding stuff to Alaska if nobody else wants to. I'm still debugging my server, but I think it may work now.

I am currently fixing the problem with the crashing of the liberty dreadnaught, and the wierd torpedos of the kusari and rheinland battleships.

I overloaded the liberty and have conflicting stuff, I need to redo it. I should have an update by tonight that fixes the battleships.

What I said about the Tie Fighters, well I just think that this is Your Mod and it should be Your Mod if you start just adding things by request like others have all these mods become weird mixtures of the same things over and over I just would like this very fine mod of Yours to retain Your Identity.

So make it how you like it or whatever works.

Foudn the problem with the battleships crashing.

There can be no more then 43 total weapons at a time. Went to 44 crash, crash, so 43 is the limit. Currently the Liberty carries 50 weapons.

The Rheinland is right at the 43 mark.

I will start the max with 43 weapons and go down from there.

Great job so far, only bug i have found so far is that the Liberty Drednaught has super fast strafe thrusters. Other than that, i like that my weapons can do damage now, even though i only have like 4 dimondbacks and 2 heavy starbeams. Takes less time to kill people now , sad thing is i died on my mission

Oh well, you give and you get. I got owned that time lol


And bob, i see your server but i still cant conenct. I can conenct to b[tches server fine though.

I have been playing SP for about an hour or so and i have some observations:
1)I just got the cool Liberty Dreadnought and it seems to have a LOT of weapons, i loaded it up with PROMETHIUS guns and Vengance Turrets and when i tried to shoot and game crashed to windows. I sold the PROMETHIUS' And kept the turrets and it ran ok.
2)Why did you opt for normal turrets that are "invisable" on the Battleship i think it looks WAY better with the battleship guns like on the base ships.
3) I hit the cargo bug it seems if you don't fill and completely empty your hold you will collect "invisable" cargo. I sold everything in my hold 90/250 i think it is,
and it said i had -150 cargo space and before i sold i had -240 it said, wierd i have negetive cargo space....i can never pick up anything ever again! have to sell and buy a new ship to get space back.
4)this goes in line with #2 i really think battleships should have the weapon loadouts that they r designed with, maybe with torps and missles added for flavor

So far it looks cool raynen! Hope the fixes come fast! Can't wait to see more!

Here's some answers

1.) The reason you crashed when you had fully loaded guns on the Dreadnaught was that a ship can have no more than 43 weapons on it, otherwise freelancer will crash, The only ship that HAS more than 43 weapon hardpoints is the Dreadnaught.

2.) Only way i know how to solve the Battleship cargo problem is : Prior to buying your battleship, buy 1 of some sort of cargo, like 1 oxygen. Then when you have your battle ship, sell it. You can now buy/sell cargo but it seems you cant tractor in commodities.

Thanks fro answering those Imax. I found the cargo problem. it deals with the way battleships handles the tractor beams. It tractors the item in, but in a null state which then fills up your cargo, but you have no ID for it, make sense?

I am looking into a fix.

I just fixed all the battleships and will be releaseing an updating version soon to address some of these issues. I give it out about an two hours, maybe less, checking over all the BS again. I still need to update the infocards with their new stats.

In BETA 4 I am adding the following 5 things

Cruisers
Gunboats
Items to bases that have none (I need a list of stations so I can populate please)
Battleship Specfic Turret and weapons, ( yes the big ones. )
Docking rings to border worlds

I will need to reduce the loadout for the freighters, they are way to powerful right now. Drone is almost matched with order battleship.

As always I thank you for your patience. Tenative release for BETA 4 is Monday.

It would be really cool if you could make some kind of heavy projectile gun for BS like a rail/MAC gun (magnetic-accelerated Cannon)..just a thought
As far as the base list due you want everyone, cause like i said its every base in Omicron, Kepler, Tau, and Magellan.

One thing I want to see is the Liberty Cruiser Main Cannon. It looks soo sweet in SP.

I guess I am doomed to not host >:-< but o well.
