Okey Reynen; I found the problem and fixed it. Everything works...

The only problem I have now is that your Mod is too tough for me to play. Flying the Starflyer, it took me 10 minutes to kill one bogie. Flying the Dagger with 5 guns, after 10 minutes I hadn't even dented the bogie's shield.

I guess I'll have to without your mod. I'm sorry to miss it.

I got to thinking since I finaly got to play this mod in a stabale reasonable way.

You should add missions like to destroy a station if your a pirate the difficulty will be 78 so newb's won't take it and go try and destroy stations.

I came across lane parts and scrap metal duh! well my idea is you shld allow building heh like houses for faction etc. in very later versions inless you know how to do this now , you don't have to make th econstruction realistic make it like er a yellow light appears and you hear voices saying commence construction construction complete all you havta do is implant new voice dialogues.After 1-2min the light fades off and you have a station the time depnds on what structer.Weapon Platforms,Stations, and Shipyards but you have limits like 1 station 5 weapon platforms 2 or just 1 shipyard (for battleship docks I heard they can dock in those ringed train docks).

Also along with Shipyards you shld be able to hire patrols for your Clan or Faction(this is all for a clan or faction so only clan leaders and top faction players like lvl38 and hes best faction is blah blah that faction is the base style).Like if your lets say LSF you get a LSF (Liberty Based Shipyard, Stations,WP's The design model)You get patriots and defenders better the ship more it cost all this shld COST a bundle stations shld cost 1-2million shipyards 2-4million and WP's(weapon platforms) around 120k.Patrols at the most shld cost 23k shld only be able to hire at least 15 of them 5 in one patrol.Also to hire these you should have a new item just remod an item to say (Merc Hire Form) dbl click it choose what ship how many in patrol(5 max)and screen fades a trigge rpoint is set in front of th eplayer when dbl clicke ditem and screen fades then fades back to normal and you have the 5 ships saying Reporting for duty.Don;t havta do this but if possible once you dock you have a new menu to cmmd your patrol to attack etc. other clans or factions like if your Liberty Rogues and your FURIOUS (ERR MAD) at LSF you send a 10 of your ships to attack their forces and hopefully win .All this in my mind seems modable it doesn't havta be perfect but the yellow screen fade you done already, in the game tiggers were set to make things appear out of nowhere it's all possible I think but theres more I wanna get out.

Ok heres a reasonable understanding on where to place your HQ (Main Base),
Allowed to have 3 bases 1HQ 2 Outposts. Outposts are much smaller 1 Shipyard
One Prison Station those seem small heh.Now to deploy a base you need to talk to the mod creator this is a need for one so he can update the game not a new version just a small update to make a new Sytem or sector whatever for this small sector or big depending on what your wanting to build. Since were in big and small section lemme explain this in my way ahem . Small, like an asteroid small or a prison base those cube stations or the battleships you dock with. Medium, I dunno lol a enlarged cruiser with a docking ability ???. Huge,Those Ring stations like one at newberlin and like that one by Planet Manhatten that big .That reminds me you shld be able to buy battleships and cruisers seperate from normal fighting ships you should be able to buy 15 fighter max(goes for Heavy, and Very Heavy)1-3 Battleships 1-3 Cruisers (The Battleships and Cruisers are purchased same way so if you bought 1 battleship then you can only buy 2 cruisers if you buy 3cruisers you can't buy anymore cruisers or battleships).
Different merchants have different buildings to sell like lets say a Blood Dragon merchant was selling a contract for a Huge Station you would get a huge Asteroid with a skull on the docking door like in SP storyline.

Ok I'm tired lol I will leave the rest to your minds and Rey to hopefully mak eout and create!
P.S.
Trains shld be made for people to board on and go places and you like if you were a train NPC's will board you after docking with a station and you havta goto waypoint drop them off.(New Sort Of Missions) .

I can't sleep oh well.....hey if this won't work I mean WON'T it shld if you found a way or there is a way.Just mod the randommission for destroying station's an dmake them spawn in a new sector requested by a player and make them allied and your's of that faction you got mission from and a patrol of 5 ships there.

The Dragon ship on Planet Tokyo has bad Hardpoint #2

Also the Tie Defender has all Turret class 1 but can hold missile or regular guns in the same slots.

Any reason why turrets do so much more dmg and are greater range then regular guns? No reason to fly a fighter unless you like to turn fast.

Missiles still underpowered.Takes like 5 paralyzers to drop shields on a light fighter. Mines too. need a little more tracking.

Im not partial to the Tie fighter mod, but whatever floats your boat.



My server is running 1.5 if anyone needs another place to play this.

Check download - its corupted! (3 times - and same error)

most of u guys even noticed this becose u got oldiest script.xml in ur mod dir
and w/o new file u cant (and i cant) see most new things...

POST NEW FILE !!!

Yeah i have a question, how is it that a tie fighter can have more hull armor that a fu***** battleship? That is really not realistic, ure it might be cool to drive something that probably kick a battleships ass. But putting the values that high is not even reasonable. That is all i have to say but the mod is pretty well completed good job

I can't explain the problem with Openmod, contact the author. Also looks like you are using the right version UNLIKE 99% of the people having problems here.

SELL all the abnormal stuff on the ship when you buy a new one. I use headlights and docking light points for some guns you must sell these when you buy the ship in order to use the HP

I will fix the package to fix all these.

BECAUSE TIE do not have many HP I made then able to carry BOTH missiles and turrets to equalize firepower. 4 death hand turret = 8 avenger.
See my reasoning?

Hm lets see, shield = 100,000 on fighters and paralyzer does 25,000 a pop.

100,000 / 25,000 = 4 missiles. What did you expect to kill them in 1 hit?

you CANNOT kill crap with 1 hit in this mod. Don't expect to be UBER

I wish they would take 1.4 OFF the main page and point the download to MY server file and not the old one they are using so that people would get the latest file.

damn, I feel sorry for you man, I can understand about people not following instructions, but they have no right to blame you for their mistakes. My suggestion to anyone having any problems with this mod is to make sure you have all other mods turned off, make sure you have the latest version, and check other posts before you throw in your complaints, if others are having the same problems as you then someone else probably already brought it up. and hold back the suggestions untill bugs get worked out in the current versions. we don't want to exshaust the only person that is working on this. remember, he is doing this to make the game more fun for everyone and if he wanted he could just stop.

Thanks damian, I appreciate that. What most don't know is that I work 8+ hours a day on this, when I SHOULD be doing my normal job. Since I own my own business its not a problem, but I think I am going to slow down because I'm just sick of all the complaints and feel like I'm wasting my time.

Yeah kept getting same corruption error even when extracting to a clean temp folder.

Even did it one file at a time and noticed the error comes up when extracting file li02.ini from the archive.

Reynen the file li02.ini is corrupted and needs to be fixed.

I am srry for making that mistake. It was 6 am and i was reading the readme file with one eye open. i finished it but i missed a couple of zeros while reading it. Srry for pissing you off.

OK fixed li02 file. Try it now.

It's ok mace I'm alot calmer now. Just a combination of everything above really made me lose my cool.

Oh yeah I got opensp to work again forgot to add a file DER.
I can help you mod if your frustrated alot I'm not great but I do know how to script and mod.

Magnificent work, friend... I must admit my eyes were lit when I hit F6 and saw all those new and wonderful details.

I have one question though... how do I get to the Omicron Minor/Major systems? I failed to see any jumpholes around. Thanks.
