Rey I can finaly play on your server I re-covered my computer lag was unbareable. Oh those beam weapons look like pasta and sometimes like whip cream : D --------
HO HO I wanna give my 2 cents again,
This mod is easy to jump into as well hard but nor impossible you always have a winning chance

I was hoping that the collision effect to be restored to its default value. Why? because of the cruise speed increase. In fast increasing the speed causes the ship's comp unable to navigate itself, lets say through the asteroid field. A good example is the Badlands in the New York system, try getting the secrets in the field by travelling right into the field and then exit, i can guarantee that with the combination of high speed, the rock's size and the collision penalty, it can pretty mess up the ship real good

Oh yeah, the shields should absorb the impact without collasping, causing the ship to "bounce off". Only when colliding with another object without shields will cause harm to the hull

One more thing, are you going to increase the trade lane speed? If u set cruise mode almost as high as the trade lane then no one will use the trade lane and with ur current modifications, travelling across the system is dangerous and deadly and without several respawns, no one's gonna cross the system with trade lanes

Hey Airboom .
I wanted to say the shields I dunno if you changed it to be like this but they disappear in 1 second if one lil object hits you same for enemy but they seem to regenrate better. Same goes for hull damage sept it goes all way to 1 and stays there for some time intill your hit over 25times.

I will be making the collision so that it ONLY takes down your shields. If you collide again with your shields down...well death. Peole want to have this realsitic. I am trying to give it to them.

NPC's have had a revamp. They will kick your but if you're not careful.

Madmax: I thought about adding joystick capability but I was informed that if I did I would get in trouble. Micro$soft is working on adding in that capability. I already got an email warning that I should be careful how much of the DLL's I modify. It seems they are getting pissed with people changing FL because people are adding what they want to put into the expansion.

Steam: 1500 cargo is insane. Considering I have made a trade route that is 4 hops and can give you 1,500 profit PER item, having that much cargo would net you 2,250,000 million on the first run. That is WAY to much. Already with the drone if you do this route you get, 600,000 ONE WAY.

Aka: There is more to this mod then what you think. I have changed many of the entire dymanics of FL and seem to be getting in trouble for it. You think changing over 100 files does nothing? Please REALLY experiement with this before making comments like that.

Also please read the new 1.6 readme and look under SHIP ADVICE USAGE

NEW readme for 1.6 is up. 1.6 WILL be released Monday. I am doing the final tweaks and working out alot of the bugs. I was done with it last night.

I am very impressed with the work you have done Reynen.

I am looking forward to 1.6, but I don't think I am going to be able to enjoy it.

I used FLMM for about half an hour, and now my computer is screwed up, and I can't play FL. I tried deleting the saves, reinstalling FL, and even permanetly uninstalling FLMM, but it won't even uninstall.

Eventually, I will just do the hard way with installing the mods, without using FLMM, but until then, I won't be using mods at all.

I should pay more attention to changes...I just blasted myself into oblivion. I didn't realize the damage increase on the Sunslayers, so when I launched a few of them into West Point for just a few hundred meters away...well, you can probably guess what I did to myself. Funny as hell though, and the explosion was nice ^_^

d/l'ed and installed ModManager 1.1.
d/l'ed and installed Mod Pack 1.6.
Started ModManager, selected 1.6, went to "activate mod", errored out.

Error: SHCopy/File failed c:\program files\freelancer modmanager\mods\Reynenmod16\exe\resources.dll to
Program files\microsoft game\freelancer\exe\resources.dll

I had your mod loaded into modmanager .9 and it activated fine but freelancer would kick out to the desktop on start-up.

I am running MP on a lan system.

Hey man, Great job so far. I really love the graphics on the beam weapons a lot. I had a fun time destroying newark with my sunslayers of doom. Same with the battle ship missouri 'as i am writing this i accidently crashed the server because i forgot to dock with another station before owning the battle ship" sorry bout that. Either way, keep up the good work!
