Myself i find argo lags, but "I am Canadian" =P

Weskel has seemed ok for me, but no one plays there and really they just built the server and have no idea how it will handle x amount of people....

I will go where ever everyone else decides, who is leading up the "Find the new Brow Server" group anyways ?

I also think we should see who would like to go with us and continue this tradition of gamming we have come to love on Brows server...

So lets get a name of players that want to go so we can get a list of accounts that will needed to be tranfered to the new server we are going to, any good admin will not just take player files off just anyone when they could hack them before he gets them...best idea would be to have brow send them directly to the admin as stated before...

anyway, Add me to the list

I'm a Canadian, and yes I know our PM has sh*t for brains.
I'm in Calgary but I haven't noticed the lag on Argonia that others are talking about, but then again I'm using an AMD Xp 2000+ on an ADSL line. Ping rate is worse on weskel than Argonia-Station and both are slightly worse than Browclop's, at least from my location.
Argonus has provided a lot of usefull info in his forums about the server, but what else do we know about weskel?
I for one don't want to waste the time needed to level up on a new server only to find it gone the next week.

I have tried both the Argonian server and the Weskel server and find the Weskel one the best for pings but there is usually hardly anyone there so its probably not a good test.

The problem is on Weskel that he does have a rule about no shooting in Liberty.

Argonia I have a bad lag problem and being down in New Zealand doesn't help that. Hey did I hear you say where is New Zealand?? ..lol

I will go where everyone else goes and see what happens so put my name down as well.

From what I've seen on Weskel his primary concern is that no one shoot his kid who plays on the server, having to worry about not offending someones 5 year old could be a drag after a while, especially if we're moving in as a group.
I'm not trying to be a buzz killer, I just want everyone to consider all the factors.

Weskel actually has a better ping for me as well, but arg is not bad either, we need to make a time where about 20 peeps get on Weskel and test the lag.

That's a good idea Bone. Might need a little more notice for this though. I just read the post and it's only 4 hours away. Maybe we could set it for a little farther away and ask Brow to advertise with a console message or two?

I think that would also be a good opportunity to display the cohesiveness of the Browclops players as well.

Talked to Regulator tonight on Weskel, hes gonna try to set something up for Tuesday so wait for his post if you are interested!

I have sent out the first group of character folders to Argonia-Station and to the owners of the characters. If it were me, I would probably not accept character folders from a player, but would accept them from another Admin. I believe Argonus is living this mantra, and it shows only that he cares about his server and his environment. Please remember to email me directly any requests for character folders.

ive been on weskel w/ about 7-10 ppl briefly, and i have not had any lag, but ppl i catch on weskel back at browclops say they get lag and the server is never restarted.

from my end - [OGzr, Galactic Playground (i think they both have no mods rule.), and all the ones twex mentioned have great connections.
EXCEPT Argonian-Station i get constant lag , i hate that server.

sorry all the servers Bone mentioned, except argonian and freeport 9 i cant connect too ever, ive tried. oh and it looks like im BANNED??? from argonian, funny b/c like i said i never played that much on it, always too laggy, but if all u decide to move to argonian thats fine, leave me out of it, but i wouldnt trust that server, it seems like the admin has no brain, and i wouldnt count on him fixing any lag. no offense all you argonian-lovers.

Has anyone else checked out Alpha Server 24/7, I posted the specifics on the GOV furum, I'm still trying to find the Admin, it's not that he's unavailable, just having a bitch of a time finding his email. Players on his server say it's a nice place to play. Server running the 1.1 patch on dual 1.8Ghz-2Gig Ram -15mb line.

I played on Alpha server all day today and never got any lag. Server seems very stable, and has some really nice people on it. Nobody knows who the admin is though. . .

Give it a try, I think I've found my new home.
