this must b the saddest day in all my time playin comp games. i totally hear ya brow, and im sad to say i cant help yet. but............... i think im gonna b starting my own server. if i do, u are all welcome (good guys and girls that play fair that is). the server name would be bits .....something. ok, brow, if i do get a new comp built and put on as a server, ull b an auto admin, and the most welcome on it. really appreciate all of what uve done, its been great. cant say it enuf. like i said, if u dont mind hittin me with my char files, that would b awesome. i, like dirty south, worked hard on em, so that would b cool to have for whatever server i move to. lata all, and keep in touch about where ur headed, those of u with my email already.

Argonus has said that he cant move the files to Argonia Station at the moment, due to security issues.

Browclops, is there even a small chance that the server may come back up someday? Your server was the only lag free server I can find and Ill jump at the chance to start over if its ever going to come back up.

Yeah, the Browclops server has provided hours of enjoyment, and all the players on it kept things interesting. I think this server is the most unique, though I haven't really been to that many servers. But whatever, I'll miss it all.

Heh, all these loyal Browclops people... we could form a clan with all the browclops people and spread the will of the monkeys throughout the other servers.

Sorry to see this server go, was the best server for the admin, for the stability and for the fun... all the best in the future Brow, thx for putting it up for us in the first place =)

As for the rest of us, what we had here in Browclops was unique, the events, the people, I really hope we all stick together and move on to a new server together, I am not ready to put my ship in the hanger just yet.

Let us know where your all going so we can all tag up as well

We should come up with some server requirements, such as:
1) PK allowed in NY/Liberty
2) Minimum Lag
3) Doesn't currently have maxxed out player usage
4) Doesn't have any nomad guns (just something I threw in for fun).

Also post any servers that you've found that you like.

So far it is between the Argonian-Station and Weskel. I'm sure there are other people finding places, but these are the ones that I know of.

Argonian-Station
A. Lifted the Liberty Rule
B. Agrees to install our character files, when they are able.
C. Has lag, but is working on it.
D. Is already a very busy server. Argonian-Ryders home.
E. Only resets Wrecks once every 4 or 5 days. (Stinky)

Weskel
A. Has no Liberty Rule.
B. Agrees to install all of Browclops character files, when able.
C. Little lag so far.
D. Is not very busy, therefore the lag issues could potentially arise.
E. Wreck reset frequency not known, but the admin seems very accomidating.

it is indeed a sad day for freelancing..

There are several reasons for me not resetting the server often.

1. I am still testing server stability.
2. I don't want EVERYONE to have easy access to all the prototype weapons.
3. I am not always able to restart that computer...Monitor is flakey and I don't have the money to get a new one...RDC works...but can't always get it to restart properly.

A lot of the lag issues I have with My server are due to <censored> modders...They just won't stay away from my server.

As for non modder caused lag...Most of the lag complaints I get are from Canada...I have not been able to locate the source...may be the connection between US and Canada...Because I have a couple of players from Austrailia and Malaysia...They rarely ever see lag...especially when the Canadians see massive lag.

(Reminds me of a song from the South Park movie...Blame Canada...lol)

If you people do want to come to my server...just email Brow IF you want your characters and HE will email them to me. (Not that I don't trust you guys...but...well...There are some people that I know would edit the characters before sending to me...I know *I* would...heheh)

I would definately go anywhere where we get a majority consensus. The character loss doesn't really bother me a great deal (although I have ALOT of stuff :p), but I'm very sad for the loss of the browclops culture. I would love to see it move somewhere else.

I dont really care where we go; i'd be willing to go anywhere everyone else does. Thank you all to all the admins who have agreed to accept our characters, it is greatly appreciated. Hopefully we can decide as a group where to land, and hopefully the browclops culture can continue in the spirit of the excellent admin who fostered it.
