Ya Justinian, I think that's it for me too, I will visit Seattle once in a while because there's good people there, but I'm going to hang my shingle in Alpha Server 24/7, maybe the modders will finally get that mods don't work on a crashed server , or maybe the admin will come out of cryostasis.
I've spent so much time looking that I've had no time to play, to hell with that! I'm playing till the server dies, then I'm going to pack it in and go back to playing Battlefield 1942 or MOHAA it's as much fun(there's a word I haven't thought of lately) with less effort and a lot less BS.

I had my characters sent over to Agonian Station. On the other hand, I also have 4 or 5 mil and a mission-worthy Eagle on servers like Calgary (some bad modding there though) and Elite, and a few less known servers.

I'm thinking of firing up an account on AC as well since so many seem to be heading there.

Tried out Alpha Centauri 2 today, and it was pretty much a joke. Word has been spreading the admin is MIA it seems, and the modders are freaking everywhere, at least when I logged on. One out of every two ships I saw were modded.

I love PKing, and being PK'd, but I don't have any love for playing with cheaters.

Twex, i want to try that next generation rpg server too, so i guess ill try modding or whatever, which i have not done at all yet, and know nothing about, so....i hope the server doesnt shut down before i install and patch all this junk.

Hey guys...

I'm running a dedicated server with very few players at the moment. Haven't had much traffic yet because no one knows about it, but I am running ver 1.1 of the official patch, and the only changes I've made to the INIs are the lancerguard mods that are supposed to help with cheating.

The server's an XP2200+ with 256MB of DDR RAM on a fast cable connection, XP PRO. No crashes yet (running FLAdmin just in case) and it's been very stable for my buddies and I playing on it. I'd love the traffic if you want to give it a shot! I'll see what I can do to get playerfiles, but it might also be nice for everyone to start fresh again. Anyway, I'll email Browclops' admin for the playerfiles and see if he's willing to transfer them to me. Let me know what goes on. I'll post here with any updates.

I'm renaming my server to IONCROSS and will be running Victor's Mod (because it really REALLY improves the Freelancer experience and seems quite stable). You can get the mod at the following address:

sorry, not the next generation, i meant KhaosPrime mod server, anyway, i just played on it for a little while, pleased to report that i had NO lag at all, but this mod is very strange, basically its really difficult to start a new guy. Twex, you said everyone was cool on that server? man, nobody wanted to help me out or even talk to me. Twex, you there?

I have some bad news, seems as If none of the server files appear when I load up mp so... this may be the farewell of the Raven... but rest assure, if anyone plays HL2 or when FF11 comes out... thats where yall find me, dont worry ... ill be back...
