God modding! Bad!

Question, stormtrooper:

Why are you so intent on continuing your little Hessian subplot that has f**k all to do with the rest of the story? Honestly. It detracts from the rest of the rpg entirely.

Why don't you try connecting your story with the bloody RPG's story?

*pats Wilde's hand gently*

Get up the wrong side of bed this morning, luv?

Your point is valid, mind you

Storm, why don't you tell us in this thread what your plans are for your characters? If they (ultimately) lead to some connection with the rest of the characters in the RPG pls continue with what you have.

Don't worry about Wilde, he's having an off-day

To support Code's comment, in the original 'vanilla' Freelancer game, I don't recall seeing any "one-day" jump holes nor were they mobile.

Update: alright I've been working on my next post, I should get it up either tomorrow or thursday...

also, stormtrooper I agree with everyone else, where is your story w going? it seems to be a tangent that is simply tagged onto the story every now and then, with no connection to anything else. If you do have a plan towork with this story, as I'm sure you do, Write more!!! get a big post up, write five or six pages in word to give us all a better idea of your plans.

I realize you probably think we have all contradicted ourseles when we tell you to keep to the vanilla universe when we havnt in certain cases. the difference is, we have all come to a mutual decission about changes we make. If someone has a problem with something someone wrote they say so and we come to a general concensus. Please dont think we're trying to kick you out of the story, we arnt. We just want to know what your direction is, and because your posts are so short ans sparatic it is dificult to see where you're going. I dont want you to leave, your story has great potential to add another interesting twist to ours. I CHALLENGE you to write a large post that corralates with our story, bring your character into our story. sit down over a few days and in the course of that time write a long post. It will be difficult, trust me I've been there, but once you have finished it and proof read it, you'll be really proud of what you've accomplished, and more importantly brought yourself further into this small community we have all made with each other over the course of writting this story.

Keep on writting everyone, I'll keep it up too.... stupid school mumble grumble.... anyway this is about to get interesting again I'm sure.....

Good idea FA. Stormy, just to add on to that, before you post your gigantic story please ask at least Code or Athena to check it over.

Fixing grammatical errors would also be nice

I appologise if I seemed like I was attacking you Stormtrooper. I wasn't. I was merely trying to raise a point and suggest a solution. =D

also I made my post, so everyone run and go read that.

also, anyone else struggling to get used to clicking on the 16 in the top middle of the page after clicking on the far right for so long? perhaps it's just me =D

edit: 17 now not 16... =P

can anyone tell I'm avoiding my homework?

Stormtrooper - No, you should e-mail (one of) us. Show that you're interested in being a part of the game, rather than apart from the game.

FA - Nice update. One small thing though. At the end Nick says, "We’ll probably run into more of them before we get back to Sprague." Wouldn't it make more sense to stop at the nearest Bretonian planet?

And now I'm off to uni. Bye!

Edit: I hit submit this morning and it posts now!? WTF!?

I just realized that I forgot to wish everybody a happy anniversary. It's been six months since the game started! Hard to believe.

So. Happy Anniversary! And lets keep it going!

*hug* all cast members and TLR forum members !!

6 months. Wow. Quite the legacy!

And I can't believe it's been almost a year since I wrote my story!

Hi, sorry that I haven't posted anything yet. I thought I would have my updae last weekend but my computer crapped itself and now my screen if filled with irritating dots and the only thing I'm able to play is Backpacker 3 wich is a real pain right now. I may have to assume the worst... that my graphics card is overheated.

I may or may not post someyhing in the while. Seems as if I have come behind a little. I hope that it will be fixed somehow. Problem is just that a graphic card here costs 1000-5000 Swedish crowns and that's really much. And I don't want a crappy low end graphics card. So I'll have to pay something like 4000 crowns. Life is unfair sometimes isn't it.

Hope I'll have any time to update. Vi synns.
