Jakob, how do you know where Buffalo is? The reason Liberty has never destroyed it is because they have no clue where it is. They don't even know it's name, and last, how could a crusier manuver in the Badlands?

Post Fri Dec 31, 2004 2:38 pm

It's in his fanfic. Admiral William Black discovered the rogues' base in the badlands and destroyed it...don't ask me how I remember that, but I'm sure jacob will be complimented I do. (it was a very good fanfic)

yeah but can we include things from other fan fics and stuff into this? If we can, then all my ships are now Rouge Manticore Heavy Fighters from CYOF.

OOC: The cannon seems a little powerful.

Wilde, I'd like you to a bit more specific rather than just dodging, this thing is hard to beat.

Dodging...?

Battle strategy:
Theta 1 launch torps and missiles at 1st nomad battleship. Theta 2 do the same to second. Afterwards split off, fly evasively, launch missiles and any nearby nomad ships. Theta 3 and Escort wing stay at a distance and pick off the fighters.

That's my battle strategy. No dodging. Unless of course we can run the hell away, in which case I'll come up with another strategy.

ww2, your LIGHT fighters are carrying Adv. CHAMPION shields ? That's worse than my Battleship having cloak! May I carry on Tryiun's Word - The neat stuff will be a factor once the RPG get going. For now, stick to standard loadout.

The point is your super fighter opponent may require a bit more than dodging evasively, for the rest that is fine.

(Hey Triyun, when am I going to find out how Wilde and I fared against the Nomads?)

Post Sun Jan 02, 2005 7:16 pm

yah I was kinda wondering that too...

plus didn't you say you're squadron's showing up?

Post Sun Jan 02, 2005 8:18 pm

OOC: I've decided Codename as assistant GM. Sorry for the delay

The first battleship takes shield damage as does the second however half the torpedos are down a few more passes would take them in though. Eight Nomad fighters are downed by the missiles the Bundusch fired. 6 more take heavy damage. The fighters continue swarm tactics against the enemy as the super fighter harasses the Bundusch Leader, trying to force him into one on one.

Richardson, you are not privy to any info on the attack upon Omicron Gamma or that the NOMADS are attacking, Liberty is probably not even aware of the planet Crete's existence let alone its status or negotiation.

thanks for deciding the battle.

I was not going to Buffalo at all, even though I supposedly already found out where it was over two decades ago. I will catch the fighters in route.

Sorry about the cannon, I was going by the only time I had ever seen Liberty cruisers attack bases or capital ships, which was
1- When Walker easily destroys the battleship guarding the West Point tradelane.
2- When the three Liberty cruisers destroy Benford station in 2 or 3 salvos.

Judging by that, I would say that they are pretty powerful.

Sorry, I guess I will have to re-work the stuff. These guys do get paid a heck of a lot, so I was only figuring that they would have the best stuff.
