I'm incharge of judging for pirates, so this is why I'm inquiring into this.

I see, the thing is, Daumann is not listed as your assets, but rather richardsons (though he didn't count it in his turn so some might have been given to you) and captain2kills. Also its a Rheinland corporation, it would have been Codenames to annex.

In the future, if factions are exchanging credits I'd like it to be posted each turn to help me keep track.

Finally Omega 7 is a Bretonian-League System and Omega 3 is a Bretonian system. Jacob said he nationalized all the corporations in his space and he didn't have any Corporate Alliance bases in his territory via e-mail to me.

There will be no deal. But check your e-mail, codename and I have agreed to a way of you guys fighting your conflict that will be fair. I'm staying out of the war at the beginning probably, and every external faction should as well. If this hit and run idea we developed works, it could be the model for pirate-house fighting that gives a good storyline, since just wiping pirate bases straight out is no fun for anyone. If it does work out, I encourage all rebels and houses to follow suit. It will take an OOC commitment though not to use overwhelming force. However it will let pirates act like pirates, I will then dissolve the league once this can happen.

Here's the deal, one of you launches a hit and fade attack on the other. The attacker specifies how many rounds of combat will be done, and both sides should have theoritcally small forces. The attacker gets first strike of course and after x-many rounds have gone, the battle is over. The theory here is, it will take several of these attacks to take a base, and it will prevent

the huge built in advantages given to the houses. My hope is; Liberty, Bretonia, and Rheinland if they all agree to use this, can all have sustained conflicts with the pirates if every pirate group agrees to participate. It won't eventually balance out though unless, Xenos, Rogues, Outcasts, Bundusch, Corsairs, and Red Hessians all agree to be pirates and to be fair and not gain up on one house. But I believe it will make for much more fun on all sides.

Turn 3

This turn I will:

A. Place 1 small base and 2 LF wings in the Omicron Alpha system.

B. Purchase 3 VHF wings.

C. Research Bomber tech.

D. I will trade H-fuel to any league member or ally for credits (4 per unit) or food.


At the end of this turn I will have:

30 credits, 7 Food, 11 H- fuel, 3 Metals, 3 Oxygen, 6 Water.

3 small bases, 2 large bases, 1 planet.

42 LF wings, 10 VHF wings.

I like this idea. (Mainly becasue Triyun and I worked together to come up with it. ) It further balances the game and allows for some interesting tactical developments. The systems has its advanteges for both legitimate and illegitimate factions. The illegitimate factions no longer have to worry about spending resources to develop a huge army only to lose it in a pivotal battle. Rather they can harass and generally just be a pain in the neck. The houses no longer have to worry so much about finding hidden bases, They can send out smal exploration parties with orders to hit and fade for one turn which would greatly increase the chances of the search party's survival but not guarantee any sort of victory. Both sides will benefit from this system.

As far as Chess is concerned, I think we should give him a choice. Either he can remain the Xenos, in which case he forfeits the Daumann bases (but not the resources he collected) or he can switch fully to Daumann and forfeit the Xeno bases (the Xenos will become an NPC faction then).
