Turn 2

Bases and such...
New London: 1 Planet, 1 Battleship, 10 HF, 20 LF
Cambridge: 1 Planet, 1 Battleship, 10 HF, 20 LF + 1 Capital Shipyard (bought last turn)
Dublin: 1 Battleship, 10 HF, 10 LF + 1 Large Station (blt)
Edinburgh: 1 Large Station, 10 LF
Leeds: 1 Planet, 1 Large Station, 1 Battleship, 10 HF, 20 LF + 1 Fighter Shipyard (blt)
Manchester: 1 Large Station, 2 Small Stations, 20 LF

New Purchases:
20 (5 Wings) HF
2 Gunboats
1 Train

Message to Rhienland:

A Train to carry Metals to you is under construction as we speak. Our trade agreement will begin next turn, if you are ready.

Message to the IMG:

Once the additions to the Royal Bretonian Fleet are complete we will move 20 LF, 10 HF and 2 Gunboats into the Tau-31 system. Your assistance has been noted and is greatly appreciated. Should you ever require Bretonia’s aid we will do everything in our power to assist you.

Income:
Credits - 10+50+10+40+10+30 = 150
Food - 19+3+6+2+20 = 50
H-Fuel - 13+21+12 = 46
Metals - 32+4+18+12+4+16 = 86
Oxygen - 16+9+3+14 = 42
Water - 24+15+4+10 = 53

Costs:
Credits - 150, Food - 2, H-Fuel - 36, Metals - 39, Oxygen - 15, Water - 0

Final Tally:
Credits - 0 (yikes!), Food - 48, H-Fuel - 10, Metals - 47, Oxygen - 27, Water - 53

Edit: Outcast - As far as I can remember Jacob changed the "only corps can build transports rule" as there are only two or three PC corps in the game. Also, since you place at the beginning of a turn, I figured that you could use new bases, shipyards and whatnot for production. Clarification would be appreciated.

Message to All Corporations and Houses

The IMG is now offering metals at the cost of 2 credits per unit. IMG mines are conveniently located in Bretonia, the Tau System Cluster, and the Omega System Cluster, near all four of the Houses.

The IMG is aware that it's primary competitor, the GMG, is convinient for many corporations and Houses, but the IMG's location and low metal prices make it a reliable and safe choice for your resources.

Signed, Guildmaster of the IMG

(Will you look at that? Only turn 2, and already we've got competition between the two mining guilds for control of the metal and H-fuel markets)

To Outcast:

Just to clarify, I'm not asking if I can buy the shipyard and build ships the same turn. I already have the shipyard I just had to wait until this turn to place it.

To GMG and IMG: Both of your prices are accetable. I will only need occasional shipments so I will purchase from GMG if I need Metals in a hurry, otherwise I will go with IMG. I will post to let you know when I need a shipment.

Anyone in need of food, Kusari is selling up to 30 units at 3 credits per unit.
First post first serve. (ie. if the first person to post buys 19 units then the next person in line can purchase up to 11 units, until the supplies run out.)

Outcast, your number was 10.
Your team was lost, and never heard from again.

Post Thu Nov 04, 2004 2:57 pm

okay, I'll attack Code's convoy . Since it will probably pass through Hudson.

Post Thu Nov 04, 2004 3:01 pm

okay, turn 2:
money left over from last turn: 350.
1. place ships: I place my capital shipyard in Hamburg
2. Rhienland builds 1 destroyer and 1 freighter. The trade agreements will come into effect next turn, once I can use the freighters. Or the BHG could send a freighter to me and I'll send it back with 14 metals, 5 food, and 5 oxygen.
3. Bretonia and the BHG are offerred alliances.
4. hmm...no movements.
5. I collect 260 credits.

oh, and Rhienland researches VHFs.

commodities left: 17 metal, 2 H-Fuel, 13 Oxygen, 28 Food, 16 water.

As of now, I will make Code's midnight rule official.
I will try to post a daily summery, but don't expect one every day.

And you can't send FIGHTERS to pick up commodities!
You need a transport or freighter!

And your number for exploration was 8.
Your party was lost, and never heard from again.

@FD- Erm... the convoy is going from Bretonia to Rhienland. It won't pass through Hudson. It can cross the Omegas.

In light of moves by the Unioners against our trading partners, Rhienland moves 2 HF and 10 LF to guard Bretonia's shipment when it passes into our space...

Post Thu Nov 04, 2004 6:40 pm

Oh, then forget it then im still a bit confused.

Post Thu Nov 04, 2004 6:45 pm

Look at the top right corner of the webpage. You should see a small clock. It should give the time. Unless you live on the West Coast of North America it will not be the right time. When it reads 00:00 the previous turn is finished and the next turn begins.

Turn 2 Started TODAY.
It ends at midnight, TLR time.

Post Fri Nov 05, 2004 4:35 am

ok, so to clear things up...right now, it is 04:31 TLR time. That means up until 4 hours ago, no one should have posted turn 3. And this turn will continue for 20 more hours, and then the NEXT turn will begin. Clear, everybody?
