Turn 7. I'm going to skip the complicated math and simply put up my trade agreements at the top; if you want to make sure I'm doing it right, YOU do the math

House Bretonia Trade Agreement: 5 Food for 5 H-fuel per turn (two turns have passed, so 10 Food for 10 H-fuel since my last turn)

House Kusari Trade Agreement: House Kusari has purchased 5 Metals and 15 Oxygen for 25 Credits

Current Credits: 425
Current Commodities: 30 Food; 353 H-fuel; 444 Metals; 114 Oxygen; 136 Water

(No base list this time, suffice to say I have 11 Small Stations, 3 Large Stations, and 2 Fighter Shipyards)

Purchases:
32 Lances of CTE-3000 "Falcon" Civilian Heavy Fighters (that's 40 wings) - Ceti Shipyard, Tau-31 System

Total Cost (Credits): 400
Total Cost (Commodities): 80 H-fuel; 120 Metals; 40 Oxygen

Remaining Credits: 25
Remaining Commodities: 30 Food; 273 H-fuel; 324 Metals; 74 Oxygen; 136 Water

Message to the Leader of the Outcasts

We understand your counterproposal and will cease conflict against you, but if you will not permit military ships in your systems than we cannot allow any of your fighters or capital ships into the Tau System Cluster. You have three days to remove any and all military ships from your base at Tau-23. We will permit your trade ships to remain aboard.

From now on, Outcast civilian ships will be allowed to move freely throughout the Tau System Cluster and, with Bretonia's good will, Bretonia itself. Military ships will still be shot on sight. This agreement will end only if an Outcast ship fires on an IMG or Bretonian vessel, we detect cardamine trade in Bretonia or the Tau Cluster, or if you engage in piracy.

Signed, Guildmaster of the IMG

Message to All of Sirius

Outcast civilian ships in the Tau System Cluster and Dublin System are now under IMG protection. Any group that attacks these freighters may consider itself an enemy of the IMG.

Signed, Guildmaster of the IMG

(Codename, there was a ceasefire in effect; we were negotiating a treaty with the Outcasts... one, I might add, with favorable consequences for Bretonia.)

Post Wed Nov 10, 2004 10:22 am

(I know. As I said before, I just want to pound somebody. Also, TRFL's military buildup proves, to me at least, that he is not negotiating in good faith. I don't trust these criminal types. )

Post Wed Nov 10, 2004 10:36 am

To IMG:
offer acepted and we are withdrawing our fighters. ANY hostility from the IMG however will be met with lethal force.

Move our 3 VHF wings to Omicron Beta

To all (who are interested):
As this seems to be an 'everyone on the Outcasts' game I find it incredibly irritating (as you would if you were in my position), boring and slightly upsetting (it won't be this game either, it'll probably happen again in any other game). I hearby propose the following:
We will:
Not commit ANY piracy in ANY system.
Get rid of criminal elements in your systems for you.
Allow millitary PATROLS in our systems. (bases will have to be negotiated before placing otherwise we will destroy them.)
We ask:
for a ceasefire (and possible trade agreements)
access to your systems (to fight criminal elements)
We would like:
One base in any system of the houses' choosing. One in Bretonia, One in Rheinland, one in Liberty, one in Kusari (this is not compulsory and negotitations will be allowed).

Before ANYBODY asks....
I had my username BEFORE the game even existed. Thank you.

More OOC: TRFL made a fair point about the "everybody vs Outcasts" game. The problem is that there's nobody else to fight (other than NPCs and, lets face it, what's the point in doing that?). Personally I'm not really interested in a game where we all say nice things to each other while building up massive armies. Diplomacy is fun, no doubt, but I want some good, old-fashioned destruction already. I tried to piss of the GMG and start a fight there. It didn't work. Now we've all got someone to attack and everyone's trying to play peace? I don't get it.

Edit: I agree with Outcast regarding the suspension. A lot has happened and Jacob will have to play some serious catch up.

REAL, ive been planning to attack Omicron Beta for ages. Its just bad luck that un started the turn before i attaked.

Jacob, will you plz hurry up?

TO ALL VERY IMPORTANT: I suggest freezing the RPG until Jacob gets back, otherwise he'll never catch up. So please, nobody go past turn 8. Im using my authority as assistant judge (since DSQrn isnt here, i think i deserve the post).

I'll post my turn 8 when he gets back.

Crete Turn 1:

News Update:
The death of the last Cretian Leader has lead to a new commander, Triyun Kun. He is now broadcasting a news bulletin:

"Attention Brother's and Sister's of the Great Corsairs. Our forces have long dominated our more numerous neighbors with skill. Where the houses, hessians, and oucasts may consider pilots expendable, I do not. Despite inferior numbers we Corsairs have held the Hessians at bay in the Omega 5 system and given the bounty hunters guild and the unknown enemies reason to fear us during their incursions into Omicron Gamma. Alas however, I fear the forces of the Corsairs may be overreaching. We are withdrawing our forces from the constant assualt on the Rheinlanders Northern Fleet. I am announcing we will for now work as a mercenary force for whomever wishes to hire us. It is not our intention to engage in wars of terroritorial conquest for now, but rather to expand economically. For now the corsairs pledge to stop pirating and looting of systems. We are willing to work out new treaties with all companies and houses guarenteeing not only that we will not loot convoys, but that we shall also ensure safe passage through systems that corsairs have bases in. Messages have been sent to all major heads."

The transmission ended briefly, at shipyards in high orbit a new force of fighters was being constructed to reinforce the current wings. In addition top scientists were at work attempting to rapidly modernize fighter groups.

((I'm using the knowledge I get from the news headers in the game to base what the Corsairs are like. Ok I hope this is right, I'm assuming the corsair bases are pretty large since Cortez seemed to be carrying on a rather major war with the Hessians, and Leon Base also was managing to hold off a free port. I'm assuming Tripoli Shipyards is fighter only due to the lack of Corsair cap ships. Btw, do I have a Nomad problem near the one jump hole in Gamma:

Planets 1:
Crete- Location Omicron Gamma

Fighter Shipyards:
Tripoli Shipyards- Location Omicron Gamma

Large Bases:

2 VHF Titan Class- Deployed to Leon Base

Omega 5 Defense Force:

Purchases for this Turn:

5 VHF Titan Wing- Producing at Tripoli Shipyards
