Wilde: I accept. You now get 10 metals every day, and i get 10 food. nice doing buisness with you.

To IMG: im afraid we need the system. If you surrender now, we will grant you safe passage from the system. If not, prepare to die (muhahahaha)

Due to a severe disruption of command and controll (namely that I still don't have the new calculator, hopefully ww2jacob will send me a copy soon) Kusari will be unable to participate in event outside its own borders. We will continue to strive to meet any existing agreements but until further notice House Kusari declares a state of neutrality.

summary: don't ask me for millitary aid right now, I'm having enough trouble as it is.

Hey Outcast, here is some news that pertains to you.

Hessians take Solarius Station! In a suprise move today by the Red Hessians, Solarius Station, the mining station in Omega-11 formally owned by Daumann. A large force of over 100 Hessian fighters swept in from Freital and overwhelmed the defenders. No shots were fired, and the 10 defending Hawk wings surrendered, along with the station. Omega-11 is now property of the Red Hessians.

Outcast, you cannot research new ships anymore. The only things avaliable for research are VHFs and ship improvements.
It is a good idea, so you can take bases one of two ways.
A- Destroy all of the station's defenders. The station automatically surrenders.
B- Use freighters or transports to attempt to land troops on the base. The fighters get one volley at the freighters, and then you own the base. If half or more of the base's INITIAL defenders survives, then your transports are destroyed, and you lose the base. If less than half of the base's original defenders survive, then the survivors retreat, and the base is yours.

"I interpret the list as a "per-base" resource counter. That means you get one instance of each for each base you control in the system. It's the only way to prevent less powerful factions that don't have the resources to control entire systems from disappearing completely."

Ooooh. I like that!
Jacob, Jacob, lets do it that way!

Edit: One small problem is that someone could simple build 50 small bases in one system and reap tons or resources. Make the maximum bases for resource caluculation something like 3.

Also, make sure you all don't forget that if you want to trade, you need to build freighters, transports or trains.

Edit 2: We should also make a rule that you cannot have more than, say, 8 bases in total (all factions combined) per system. That way we'll have some real jockeying for industrial/economic superiority, methinks.

Hmmm. Okay. Ten Metals to you, ten H-Fuel for me.

Just don't forget to build a Transport so you can send the stuff my way.

Okay, Richardson's attack on Ainu has been resolved.

Outcome- Victory for the Freelancer's Guild
They now control Ainu.
Losses- 10 LF's for GC (NPC)
Everything EXCEPT 3 VHF's for Richardson

So, In short, rich wins, and has 3 VHF wings left.

@Code/Arillias- I'm not sure about that idea...
That would lower the amount of resources DRASTICALLY. Think about it. One resource per base? Perhaps I don't understand though. Could you explain in a little more detail, please?

If I understand correctly it means that for each base I have in say, Leeds (2 - battleships shouldn't count for this as they are mobile), I'll get 6 Metals, 7 H-Fuel and 2 Food for a total of 12 Metals, 14 H-Fuel and 4 Food. It may make things slightly more complicated (I may have to make yet another calculator) but it will also simplify the distribution of resources within a system owned by more than one faction.

Alternately it could simply mean that as long as you have one base in a system, you have full access to all resources and no multipliers exist (more bases won't increase your resource income within the system).

Personally I prefer the first interpretation (with my max bases stipulations). Why? Because it encourages players to take over and develop systems that are not already full. Expansion is good, my friends.

total= 51 metals, 25 h-fuel, 10 oxygen, 10 food

credits from last turn: 115 (i also get 30 back for the reseacrch i cant do)
credits this turn: 225

Bases:
Dresden- 1 Large
O-11- 2 Small, 1 Shipyard

I’ve upgraded the calculator yet again. It now uses Arilias’ resource distribution system. I have put in all of the systems and programmed the calculator to give you one set of resources per base (by base I mean planet, station or shipyard - battleships do not count). All you have to do is enter the number of bases you have per system, to a maximum of three, (you can have more than three bases per system but only three will count towards your resource income) the calculator will do the rest. You should be able to figure everyhting else out yourselves but, if you have a problem, feel free to drop me an e-mail.

Now that everything is sorted, let’s start over. Please?

The new calculator can be found here.
