Update:
Should have all of the systems done in a day or two.
Then I'll get to work on the commodities.
With any luck, I should have a new release ready by the end of the month.

Update:
All 70 systems are done (for now), and tested.
A couple Retro & Pirate bases haven't been tested, but should be okay.

I've finished spreading the ships that are for sale, around.

Currently, all ship's equipment is available at every base.
(I may change that later.)

I've just got started working on the Commodities.

After that, I'll work on populating the bases, adding new rumors, and "know-abouts."

Sadra is working on a new model that will be in the mod if it's ready for the next release.
It's an EXACT copy of Privateer 1's mines.
Looks really great!

Wow, I really commend you on your fine job there Warzog! Hanging in there after such a long time and after setback after setback. Kudos to you man for continuing your work on the Mod untill you are completely satisfied and giving us Privateer and Wing Commander fans what we always dreamed of in regards to FL Mods. Excellent! I can't wait to see all the stuff you have in store for us this time

I've always believed that if you're going to do something, you ought to do it right.

Update:
Using the Hardpoint Editor, I'm going through and fixing every ship in the mod.
They all sit lower on the landing pads,
The weapons are actually mounted to the ships.
And the weapons have better arcs than before.
And somehow, when I ran the Demon through the program, it became visible beyond 65 meters.
So, the Demon is back in the mod.
I tried it on the Vaktoth, and Bearcat, but they're missing tga files.
I still need to find sur files that are closer to the various ship's actual size.
It appears that someone's been sending me sur files of the Rhino to use with most of the ships.

Update:
Finished editing 26 of the 27 ships in the mod.
(The Paradigm is to big to edit in the HardCMP program.)

Now that, that detour is finished, it's back to the commodities.

Update:
Fiddled around some more with the HardCMP program.
And I got the TCS Vesuvius by Plague set up as a working base in drydock at the Perry Naval Yard.
Plague gave me permission to use it months ago, but I could never get anyone to add the docking hardpoints.
I emailed Plague again to make sure it's still alright to use it.
(I just hope his email is still good.)

Now if I can just find that model of the TCS Victory, again.

Dumb. Duh. Dumb. DUMB!!!

Update:
As I need to fix the commodities, AND populate the bases...
I thought I'd tackle the easier one first.
AND!!!
I thought that, that would be populating the bases.
After all, I planned on just cut-n-pasting characters from the Sirius' bases to the Gemini ones.
Well...
I ended up with 84 characters.
I wanted 85, but one faction only has 4 characters in Sirius.
(Even if they are renamed each time, and used over, and over, and over again!)

During testing I had to stop and make 76 Gemini Specific Rumors.
(Just hints to where the 51 wrecks are, from different faction viewpoints.)
Then I discovered that none of the new faction names, or asteroid/nebula zones, were showing up in the Bribes or Random Missions.
(Took me two days to decipher Chip's explaination, and to find the Zone info.)

So...
I've reworked the faction names.
I'm in the middle of the asteroid/nebula zones.
Then I'll get back to populating the bases...
And then on to the commodities.

Update:
Finished the work on the asteroid/nebula names in the mission briefings.
I've gotten about 1/4th of the base populations done.
I've been waiting on Sadra to finish repairing the mining base so I can plug it into the mod.
If I don't have it soon, I may fiddle with it myself.
(It's to good to leave it out.)
And then I'll finish working on the commodities.

Have I forgotten anything?
