I got MS to force FilePlanet to open the download up also for non-subscribers, no need to make it worse for both parties... Let FP keep the exclusive for the weekend... you can still get it, just takes an hour extra!

Demo Released

After 9 hours of downloading I finally got it through my 56k line in tact. It installed fine for me and suprisingly I could play it without having to download DX9 (currently using DX8.1)
It's worth the wait guys, I've just been in scrap after scrap with the Liberty Rouges, those guys are like sand (they're everywhere). I'm still getting used to using the mouse but at the moment i'd say it's showing some potential.

Fileplanet still wants you to create a account to download the demo. I will just have to wait until Monday or March 4th for the full game. I think it was wrong for Microsoft to give Filepanet the excusive use of the demo before it is released to the public. They ( Microsoft ) have so much money the way it is. Why try to suck some more out of this poor economy? A demo should be free and available to all when it is made available. Afterall...it is just a demo.

what is that ez-panel thing. when i downloaded the demo, it made me download that as well. now i'm worried. do they have that for all fileplanet demos? or just MS demos? i was able to uninstall it. but, i'm wondering what information i sent out over the internet. thanks.

Yes... and it checks it every time you wanna play the demo. Pretty annoying. *grrrr*
