I've had no probs running the demo
there was a short prob INSTALLING it though.. kept asking me to indert the trial cd.... then for some reason it decided to work.
one prob though.. the game cut me out once i reached a certain financial amount.. hmm. oh well it's enough to tide me over till march

Does the demo have struts? Sorry for asking but i'm still afraid that only the last beta featured them again and that the final version won't. I'm sort of pessimistic about that even though some insiders assured that they will be in the "gone gold" version.

I meant it this way: if the demo has struts the final version will have 'em for sure. If not, then not. I just wanted to have one final confirmation. I know, doubters like me can be pain in the ass but i hope you can understand my concerns. They were in and then they were taken out, so they could have been removed again since the pr beta.

at this point im not even sure if its worth it to dl it, with the huge mass of people wantin to dl it, its will take forever to even get to the front of the line to dl it and then once ya do get to actually dl it, it will be slow as hell cause of the huge amount of people tryin to dl it at the same time.

Geez, I can understand requiering a game for RETAIL games, but for Trial versions? no wonder there is so many pirates...its easier to warez a game than to download the demo nowadays.
Well I never thought I would say this, and always ridiculed people for asking this in retail forums...but is anyone willing to send the Key to open up Freelancer Trial version?
