Maybe there's multiple varieties of Liberty Ale. Like Liberty Ale Lite, Liberty Ale Genuine Draft, Blue Ribbon Liberty Ale, Liberty Ale Blonde for the Dutch et cetera.

Why the Dutch? I don't know, ask them.

Hey, heres something to put the chills in you!
"Engien Degreaser"
3 parts XXX Moonshine
1 part Cardamine
6 drops of H Fuel
Good for only two things: Killin brain cells, an degreasing Engiens....
Or just drink Liberty Ale!!!
Lite, Extra smooth?? Whats the difference? It all gets you drunk in the end!!

Bein an Outcast is about doin things you wanna do: Kill, Terrorise, Murder, Destroy, Smoke Cardamine, ya know, normal stuff.....

Maybe they're different vintages.

Or maybe, just perhaps, might, could, perchance the reason be that DA/MS didn't want to bother putting more drinks into the game.

Even if they did get some decent beer in Liberty, they'd probably serve it at 3c, so that it would all taste the same as their own stuff............
