Being an American. While I can't convert centigrade, I did recognize the "c" as being that. If all you believe is the BBC, then you are just as shallow as that which you accuse, I can name a lot of world capitals, aced my geography classes when I was in school, when I visit Europe I do call soccer football, and at least we don't have cricket. And I don't have a tooth job that costs around 3400 pounds.

I like swearing in British (Bloody Buggering Bollocksy Bastard -- not to you just demonstrating ), while I sneeze in Chinese. "Ah aH, AHH CHI choo wa!" I even often write favorite as favourite, or color as colour. AND, and, I am fairly good at Olde English, look to my plays:

I'm not a "yank", I am Canadian.

We use Celcuses, but the small c threw me off.

as for world Capitals

Ottawa, Washington D.C., London, Paris, Tokyo, Rome, Athens, Brussles, Berlin, Mexico City....and thats about all I can think of right now.
