FREELANCER EXPANSION PACK!!!! AAHHH!!
This is a free discussion forum on Freelancer. This is the place to discuss Freelancer issues NOT covered by the other boards!
It actually had me going for a minute till I saw today's date. Damn, that was good and it looks so real. But an expansion when the game hasn't even been released in Europe yet? Good one but it does break my heart.
I came. I saw. I conquered. And sometimes get conquered.
"I'm Natrunner, I don't really run TLR but I do have an understanding with those that do."

Well damn, I woke up to late to post my joke lol. Well I guess theres always !!!!!!! I just saw this on CNN! Iraq was defeated by the _Coalition_ of the willing and has launched 5 sleeper ships into space! !!!!! Whats that thing in the sky? Flip on CNN they got some satelites watching this thing in space! Its blue and transperantlike and its _SUPER MASSIVE_!
Dear God for about five seconds I was in heaven... and expansion already!? Wow! Then I remembered... the date is April 1st. Sigh. Oh well, I admit I had a good laugh over it, although it was a big letdown! I knew it had to be too good to be true (although part of me though: heck, it's just like Microsoft to release a game that was missing so many elements just to release those already prepared elements in some pricey expansion... more money! M$!)...
"oooooo you do realize you're all going straight to hell for that one..."
In a handbasket.
------
"well, guranteed is correct
checked it MS words my self"
Um, I just checked this against the spellcheck in office-xp and "guranteed" came up as an error. It wasn't in there. Further, it's not an english word. I see two possibilities:
1. "guranteed" is an actual word in some language other than english and you have a multi-language dictionary installed.
OR
2. Someone added it to your dictionary. The thing about office's dictionary is that when it detects a spelling error you can just click a button and add your mispelled word to the dictionary and that mispelling will never be detected again.

Cast another vote in the not funny and completely tasteless pile.
I think as someone earlier made the point, a good April fools joke is one that makes people laugh. This 'joke' is more liable to make people angry, or at the least, sad that it's not true.
Heck even the countless websites that are using the old 'site seized by the FBI' joke are better than this drivel.
