Well I found it quite funny, my dad walked in when I was still on the page but figured it out (he knows some stuff about the game) and he found it funny, I IM'd someone else I know that has the game and he agreed he found it quite funny. Now if these three people find it funny, it is logical so assume three other people might not think this funny, now cant we just agree, agree to send the people who dont think this is funny away into space?
NOTE: I have a pretty odd sense of humor, I trip and fall in the mud and I laugh at myself.

You guys have to loosen up a little.
I mean, all of us love this game, that's why we're here right?
It's just a silly joke.
Moreover, I've never heard of ex pack announcements just 1 month after the game is released.
Chill out guys.
It's not tasteless, it's funny.
Must be the work related stress and all.
Haha.
And besides, it's not like the joke made fun of dead people, or racist jokes, or anything.
Seems pretty harmless to me.
Oh..And concerning "good April Fool's jokes make people laugh"
The joke was a good one - at least for the less serious bunch of us.

Rufus & Robot - Part I: The Reckoning

There once was a man named 4Robot3. And his best friend in the whole world was a brown and gray puppy named Rufus. So, one day 4Robot3 and Rufus were walking along the canal where they lived...
"Look", cried 4Robot3, "I can see a mule from here!", and he pointed at a mule.
"That is indeed a fine mule, kind sir", answered the shopkeep, who had not previously been introduced.
"You look a lot like Super Mario", exclaimed Rufus.
"You're kind to an old man", replied the shopkeep, "Although I know you were just trying to work a physical description of me into this story."
"Indeed I was", stated Rufus flatly, for he realized that the story had gone nowhere.
