Sorry guys but I am done
I used to play FL for relaxing enjoyment but the mod has amplified the ships and systems but made the gane so difficult that well I give
sorry if I am wimp but I am at the point were I don't have enough money to fix or replace anythingI can even leave the station I am at without being slaughtered. Faced with the possablity of starting over I choose to quit and deadctivate the MOD
AND I was so hoping to find a stardestroyer.

Is possible to make the shield power_usage = regeneration_rate? Ithink, it is not real, use 10 energy units and recharge 163...

I think the extra modules, like the engines and power cores and scanners, need to be redone. The slots where the new things go could use a label of what they take. The info cards could use a rewrite, mainly the presentation of the stats. Just that whole area with the engines and generators was confusing. The scanner and tractor beam parts were pretty straight forward.

I would suggest going on a Privateer route for the engines and generators and what not, having different levels of an engine, and the ship only capable of mounting a certain level of the engine.

I think that's my only complaint. Other than that, a pretty decent collection mod.

thanx for the ample sugestions lukr, unfortunately lately i did not have enough time to work and test the mod properly. my every day work is eating almost all my time..
i know is still much to be done and i'll do as much as i can in the little time i got(mostly at night).
About the cleaning up you're talking about, it'll probably take the mod of my mod allocated time to do it and it's so hard cause te mod is so complex and big now...it has 4 extra infocard DLL's, with a lot of equipment, ships, weapons, systems and other misc stuff added that makes this cleaning very difficult.
the naginata, the tempest and the javelin have their own power sources, and the damocles will have its own as well. it;s a very good(even bright) idea to make those occupy a lot of cargo space...i'll do that an maintain their 100 credits price. This way only capships will be able to afford these powerplants.
About the sabre XR carying level 10 turret weapons...remember it;s just one turret, while the capships have much more. it was an upgrade i had to do since the normal Sabre had lvl 9 turret and i couldn't upgrade the weapons HP's...already at max level.
Re-spreading the different weapons troughout the Sirius sector was already done, about the lvl 10 weapons sold everywhere perhaps you;re right but remember these have level restrictions so not everybody can buy them.
good ideas about the cluster these will be added in...it will use same energy/low cost ammo, and have a fire rate of only twice the orginals, but less tracking capabilities, on all classes(normal, homing and shield busters).
prices for the hellfurrys and cruise missiles will go up...a bit.
if you don;t wanna loose your damocles turrets, don't loose shields or fi you lose those run as fas as you can...
Ragabash, try to reduce the level of diffculty to level1(use level1.bat). do mostly strike missions against weapons platforms(no capships since these will slaughter you indeed). Get a better shield, also a shield capacitor an a shield powercell(makes shields recharge faster). Use cluster missiles on the stuborn pirate fighters and torps or cluster slingshots/catapults on capships ans WP's.

how do you gain faction with the EFA Police? I've killed loads of bad guys, 100's and it NEVER goes up. Hell i really don't understand how i got to be hated by them. All my "good" factions are max green (police, military, etc) so what's the deal with the EFA Police? I can't land on Earth anymore (still trying to figure out why, as i have NEVER killed any police)....please, help.

PLEASE.

Baene...it's really easy in fact, if your rep did not go red with them...
the EFA is a newly added faction, unfortunately the normal faction reputation system is not working too well on them...it seems you can only go down with the rep with them. there are 2 things to do...re-start the game so the rep will be fixed or try the bribe...but you'll have to be not too low with the rep so you can still dock on Earth...there's the place to bribe them. I'll add a bribe option for EFA police at Willard base in the next version, so problems like yours will be avoided in the future.

Hi,

my game is crashing in EA01 system. In Omicron Alfa too. I don't know why... Ithink, it is when RH battleship is pop up. But not always. It may be bud cargo hold. In EA01 is crashing allways when I fire to nomads...

Rep with EFA police? You must buy others factions (corsairs, outcast, red hessians, police, military, ....) and efa police is going slowly up. its about 1 000 000 ÷ 10 000 000 credits... :-)

Could anyone please tell me where do I find the other systems (other than EFA, that is)? I've searched for hours and will not accept answers such as "keep looking".

BTW... is it just me, or is there a problem with the EFA system showing just a portion of the map (F6)? All of the really far planets are way out of the map bounds.

Hey, Great mod! The ONLY thing I don't like about it, is that on pretty much all the custom ships, including cap ships, I cannot hit. It's not my aiming because the shots are going right through the ship. This is especially bothersome on cap ship missions. It seems to be that unless I hit the ship dead center with a rocket is the only way to kill them, otherwise all they get is splash damage which is not a lot. I just spent 30 minutes on the last mission trying to kill a ravens claw, i got it down to half health with tempest sam, then all of a sudden it takes me forever to put a dent in it! Is anyone else having this problem? I've reinstalled I don't know how many times so that's not it, any ideas?

Also having to run the gauntlet to get out of earth is pretty funny. The second I started playing and I left earth, I get ambushed by 2 outcast fleets and 2 of the seperatist forces fleets. Another wierd thing, the seperatists are only hostile to me whenever there is another hostile fleet around, are they trying to show off or impress someone?

(look in dublin, above the asteroids, ->minbari+narn hole)
(look in edinborough, bottom left corner, a bit off-map->centauri)

yes, other planets are faaar. big mods are exceeding original FL standards.

Beedo, unfortunately the unhittable ships are due to the lack of proper .sur files for em as i said a milion times before(read troughout all the pages guys!).
the improper definition of the ships surfaces makes the player miss a lot when using only his/her guns. Using missiles is the solution here.
DNA, jumpholes to EFA are in all capital systems of all houses, plus omicron alpha and gamma. the Liberty jumphole is somewhere in SW of TExas system.

Hey Mike...

What made you think it was any less than easy to find the EFA jump gates? The other new systems were a little more of a challenge. Too bad they're alittle undeveloped and rather empty with business.

I do have one question though... Have you noticed that the White Star (buyable at the Minbari base) has some crazy controls? It doesn't respond well to right turns - it rolls left and then shifts down for some reason.
