Your editor rules dude its so much better than anything i have ever dowloaded for any game. Its easy to use and powerful. You have extended the life of this game so much for me. Thanks.

However i can't get missions to appear at the bases i create. Have i missed something or do you have to do this manually by editing ini or whatever?

Shsan already knows about the missions bug, and is trying to get it to work.

Shsan, try looking in the tutorial section about the random missions, they seems to be some stuff there.

NightCrawler, i really don't see what's wrong. I have tried your mod and i don't have the problem..

Indeed I know that the random missions are not working. I know what missing but when i put it , it's not working either
So any "working" infos will be welcome. And i mean more than just it's working in another mod, i want to know how and why

Shsan, I have a suggestion: now that saved games can be decrypted, it's possible (and very easy!) for your program to create a saved game that puts the player on any planet in any system. VERY handy for debugging/trying out system mods in-game

unfortuantely, no. the savegames still use the weird hex system used in the server console. so it's stupidly hard to try and edit them.

Me making a shipyard at the moment

Its kinda hard, also, with the rotaing numbers, could someone explain them?
I mean like:
First box =
Second box =
Third box =

The ones who have havn't...
The ones who don't do...

The rotation number describes a rotation in space.
the X axis is the one across the screen horizontally (left right)
the Y axis is the one into the screen
the Z axis is the one vertical on the screen (top or bottom of the screen)

So if you rotate only in Y, it's rotating the object in the plane of the system.
a rotation of 180 degrees in X, will put the object upside down.
combining the angles will give you any possible orientation.

I am afraid that in 2D it's not easy to represent that. If you want to do one only in Y, then you can use the jumphole rotation to have the number. first change the rotation with the dedicated interface(right click), then ask to change the rotation with the generic menu (use shift-right click).
Hope this help.

I am running a thread on my forum, on "What's Next" with the program.
If you think that something is badly missing, please post it in my forum
A new version has also been released.

Ver 1-6-13-0

Hey shsan;

Just got the new version. Tried it out, but still got the MSN Error Report screen when trying to put a jump hole between my system and Keppler.

The new rig looks good.

downloaded the program and it screws up my computer if i do something in it (i dont know what triggers it yet) most things disappear from the map (universe map goes black, in-system planets & stars disappear) AFAIK it is still useable after this happens, but you cant see what you are doing (much like editing the ini files but with a mouse) also when this happens it kills the sidebar in Windows Explorer (where it says ur current folder & file info) i dont know why this could be

im running Win98<-(this may be the problem) on a 1ghz with 128mb ram, geforce2 mx200 video card etc. etc.

anyone have any ideas? its great when it works
