Hey bud, found the problem. I had cloned the files in the ENCOUNTERS directory instead of creating them all sepretly. Noticed that the Liberty one wasn't the same as the Escorts one and that got me thinkin. Now I have a universe full of battleships raping eachother.

The mod should be released by tonight! YAY!

wold be funny to blow a rh_battleship as a part of an corsair mission....

Neph, is it possible to get a cruiser to guard an area, im trying to set up house spesific cruisers guarding each jump node in their territory, whilst their fighters patrol, the wander command didnt work, so i tried the nothing command and the cruiser didnt show up, then i tried the patrol_path and the game crashed!

oh sorry i forgot to mention it :p yep i changed the initial world... and i have the same problem as oracle it seems... the ships sail on by.

Hey, that's what happens when you create the files at 7AM after being up for two full days with no sleep. *LOL* Told you my mind wasn't working right. At any rate, figured out how the X-Y crap works on the map positions too. If anyone else needs help in that area here's the jist of it.

*****************TUTORIAL*******************

MAP LOCATIONS (pos = X, Y, Z)

0, 0, 0 = Center of the map
+X, 0, +Z = Bottom Right of the map
+X, 0, -Z = Bottom Left of the map
-X, 0, +Z = Top Right of the map
-X, 0, -Z = Top Left of the map

You can mess around with the Y position if you wish but I find that only creates problems in locating what you've added to the map.

As well, in the Liberty system one box seems to be 33000 wide and 28000 tall, incase your having troubles with the measurements. For other systems you have to check "Universe.ini" in the Universe directory to find out the "NavMapScale", which is the scale of the map compaired to Liberty (default). In other words if you have a "NavMapScale=2" then you would multiply the grid dimentions (33000 wide, 28000 tall) by 2 for that system. (atleast I think multiply)

yeah all the legal crap is set back to default only the reps are changed yet they just sail on by

what's worse, when I attack a Rheinland ship, the Liberty ships attack me as well (they are suppose to be anti-Rheinland). yet at the same time they all attack the Nomads like their reps says


I'm thinking maybe I have to change ALL the reps including their allies in case there's a "friend of a friend is not an enemy but a friend" thing going?

I hope not, there's gotta be dozens of factions out there

I had to modify the Rheinland faction to be totally unlawful, which by default makes the Liberty hate them. Atleast that's the way it worked out. As well, when I approach the battlefield I can attack the Rheinland without the Liberty attacking me, but the Liberty will attack ANY Rheinland ship at the drop of a hat. *LOL*

Anyway, I'm betaing the mod right now and it should be released in about 2 or 3 hours, baring any dificulties.

Guys, too was having the initialworlds problem that it wasnt setting the guys to enemy, it seems the problem may be due to the story, i was trying to get rhineland hostile in the sp campaign, they werent, however as soon as i went to mp and hosted my server rhineland was attacking Liberty guys and visa versa with pleasure, maybe its the same for you snake n oracle?

How's that mod going? I'm waiting expectantly for your completed work since your doing almost exactly what I was planning to do. Didn't seem to make much sense to do the same job twice.
