all i know is whenever i try to go to a jump gate, it crashes just before i get to the other side, i see the cinematic and then it just minimizes to the desktop telling me the usual microsoft sh*t about how such and such as performed an illegal operation and it needs to be closed and whether or not to send an error report. i'm using w2k btw, the dreadnought works with w2k right?

If I put up a server that has this mod in there, and other players who have it as well come on, can they buy the ship and fly it... Another question is, what if I have it up on the server and they don't... Will it crash, will they crash out???

I'm not sure what this means...

Don't forget to find the docking_ringx2_lod.sur file in the data\solar\dockable folder and rename it. That way you won't collide with it when leaving or docking.

Yes thats right, rename it to anything. Call it rubbish if you like. As long as its not the original name, the game won't be able to find it. As for server side mods, it appears that clients need it as well in regards to new ships.

How could I go about changing the ship from the dreadnaught to the prisoner ship that is in the first few missions of the SP missions... I believe it is the ship on the game box on the inside cover...

I'd use all the same guns and port and all, but I want to get it so I'm flying around that model... I've tried playing with it... But I just can't get it...

Any ideas???

Wanderer, mooring doesn't work on the Westpoint style stations, any clue as to why???

Mooring to Westpoint style stations is currently not possible since the hardpoints for moors of both types seems to have been messed up somehow. My advice is to look at the other stations .sur files and use their moors as a basis. A simpler way is to replace the whole station model in the solararch with something else like say a small station.

As for the prison ship, i've already made a tutorial and its somewhere around here.

For mod scripts, talk to IGx89. He does them.

Maybe you found this already but im gonna tell you just incase.

the script of this mod, that i downloaded from Legends website the game would crash every time you fire the beam guns (flak cannons) I was looking over the tutorial and the script and found out that everything in the tutorial was on it except this line:
